I had an old pierce that eventually gave out but probably one of my favorite nailers. Nobody wanted to take it, it hissed when you barely tapped the trigger but it had some real power and hardly any 'recoil'. I got stupid stupid fast on the thing hopefully it treats you right

Ya, to be honest I was expecting way less from it. I’ve probably put around 20,000 nails through it so far and I have to say the power is great and very minimal recoil. The one thing I noticed is that it featured a 6 nail lockout but that number is probably closer to two now

I hate that Paslode discontinued this model, but as long as it uses the same rebuild kit, I wouldn't mind buying it from good ole Harbor Freight. I have the Power Plus model, love it, except the fact that when you fully load the magazine, nails tend to slip out and cause the gun to misfire

Couldn’t agree more, I can’t understand why they would take a better model and scrap it. Either way this gun is a perfect clone. I’m super particular when it comes to nailers and it checks all the boxes. The one this I did do was take the paslode hook and put it on this gun though

Can you give us a little backstory on currently running this gun? Is 30 degree you personal choice? Was the discontinued paslode your favorite?

Sorry just saw this now. I bumped into this gun by chance walking through harbour freight and immediately noticed it was a clone of the paslode powerframer pro with a different name. The gun itself is fantastic. I like to switch it up between coil and strip but this gun builds majority of the houses. It’s light weight and quick and easy loading make it a no brainer. As for the degree of nailer it’s a matter of mail availability. I could go to a lesser degree nailer/ nail but the cost in nails for me would more than double

@@framingbeast720 I’m currently in 28 degree Bostitch wanting to switch simply because the 28 degree is a little limited (no cordless options). I’m a remodeler so flexibility is key. I think I’ve decided on 30 degree to take advantage of the light weight cordless paslode for small jobs and punch list. The other cordless guns just seems way to heavy. I’m now on the search for the main workhorse (the pneumatic). I’m having a hard time convincing myself the Harbor Freight gun is the best available choice. Lol. We always want to differentiate ourselves as pros but if the tool does the job well, then it is what it is. I’ll keep following and look for comments/updates. You’re one of my favorite channels on KZitem as a whole.

@@PartyTimeProDJs ya I think the main deciding factor of nailers we pick is availability of fasteners. Trust me I’ve tried and have the main ones. If I was just doing remodelling and not production framing I would use my compact paslode 30 degree nailer. Only takes one strip but with all the over head work it would be hard to top. As for production framing I pick the harbour freight gun all day based upon the lighter weight compared to the Lola slide powermaster and the one step Loading/great feel. Trust me for $200 it’s worth it

Yes it’s 30. They had the hitachi style 21 degree nails on clearance for I think 80$ but the price of 21 degree nails in Ontario is ridiculous and I’m a little biased towards paslode style when it comes to strip nailers

Probably paslode strip nailers. Next to no bounce back because of the power the nail doesn’t get a whole lot of say in the process lol
