... and they wonder why she keeps picking these terrible men. Although her father didn't leave her, he wasn't the best role model, and with a mother who just up and leaves for a boyfriend. It's not like she had cancer and went seeking treatment. I often try not to judge people but boy some people make it real hard!

People are saying that her mother shouldn't have abandoned her and what a horrible person she is, but you all seem to forget that fathers leave their babies all the time and don't think anything of it they carry on with their lives as though the child doesn't exist.

@Lotus0812 I agree with you. Her mother don't deserve to have her anyway. But it makes me sad when women are seen as evil people for leaving their kids but men leave all the time and noone bats an eyelid. When a man looks after the child everyone says wow well done it must be so hard for u. But as women we are just expected to do that. I'm not excusing this woman but maybe she did what she thought was best for her daughter and didn't realise how miserable she was. maybe, maybe not we don't know

@Lotus0812 Didn't say it was right. My point is that why is it seen differently when a man leaves his kids?

it's always seen as different and worse when a man does something.

the rape story makes me uncomfortable because I've been on the other side of that. I used to go round this one girls apartment, as I was doing a bit of plastering around there. We got to talking, and eventually I told her I liked her. She said she liked me too. I had no protection so we kind of hinted that the next time I came round we would have a bit of fun. However, when I arrived the whole thing felt awkward. I kind of sensed that perhaps she'd changed her mind. I did ask her, but she said it was ok. I turned the light off. Her body language wasn't great. She didn't want to kiss, but she didn't stop me. I asked her again if everything was ok and she said yes. But it was bad sex, the worst ever. Halfway through I remember thinking to myself 'am I raping this girl?' - because she didn't seem to be reacting at all to it- it was like I'd imagine doing a hooker must be like. I wasn't rough though. I was stuck between stopping myself, and just finishing off- because to stop would have been a bit weird and uncomfortable by that point. So I finished, and left. We didn't meet again after that. Ten years later, and I sometimes wonder if she tells that story like she was 'raped by some person' I don't think I raped her at all. But I don't know if it would play out like that in a court of law.

At least her mothers there for her now. Its the father Im more annoyed at he should have been there for her and almost over compensate for the fact Ulrika lost her mother. He abandoned her too though he was still around. He had total disregard for his daughter, to carry on sexual relationships whilst she was around! Disgusting man! I suspect her mother was probably suffering from deep depression and probably thought her being around would affect U more. Still she should have gotten help!
