@@GryphLane i've had to sign on once. the woman who was meant to actually help me was an absolute ass! it took an outside organisation that does training to get back. got a job within two weeks with them.

darkball31 yeah the bbc use it to fund tv shows thats why no adverts are shown on bbc channels and radio but only company in the uk to not broadcast adverts

We do occasionally, but they are usually broadcast towards the end of the night, and look more like adverts these days. The NHS ran them recently in the last couple of years.

We had Covid ones rammed down our throats pretty much every day during the first lockdown, god I hated watching TV during that time. Wound up playing video games most of the time to avoid them. Nowhere near as good as the ones in the 1970's etc.
