Nice video once again Rob. I have a couple of Pigtronix pedals (Micro Disnortion and Quantum, just sold the Mothership 2) but have never heard of this one. It sounds great like an analog delay should. I also assume if a larger company did indeed rebrand a cheapo pedal they probably improved it at least quality of parts wise.

Hey Frank. Thx for the comment. I really like what they do. Love the Disnortion. It’s a bit troubling that may be a rebranded cheaper pedal. Like you said it’s quite likely they modified it at least somewhat. I’m gonna see what their position on it is.

Cheers Cathal. Yeah it’s a lovely sounding compact analog delay.

Hey man, cool video. While the Constellator sounds great, it's worth noting that it's also a rebranded Xvive Echoman. If anyone's looking to get one, you can get the Xvive for a good bit cheaper new and even cheaper secondhand.

Really? It’s a rebranded Xvive pedal? Are you sure?

I just looked. Certainly looks similar. Which came first.

@@TheGuitarEffect Yeah man, the Xvive came out at least 4 years ago. It's got an entry on the Effects Database site dated 2017 but I can't confirm if that was a release date or for the original announcement. When Pigtronix announced the new mini line back in 2021, I thought the layout on the echo looked really familiar. General consensus from the gear community is that yeah, they're the same pedal. It happens more often than people think honestly.

I’d seen electro harmonix do it with a tuner pedal before.

I don’t really know how to feel about this if I’m honest.
