Brad Tilden is a general aviation pilot and the retired CEO of Alaska Airlines.
In this episode, we sit down with Brad to find out about his aviation roots, including his Dad who worked on the "moon buggy" first utilized on the surface of the moon during Apollo 15. He got his pilot's license as a young man and continues to fly regularly.
His working career took him from a paperboy, to a dishwasher on an Amtrak train, and eventually to the CEO position with Alaska Airlines. We covered a range of topics including lesson learned during tragedy, leadership and decision making, and the challenges of leading a company through a merger.
