In this video I’ll show you how to make this Pinaputok na isda. Pinaputok na isda is an authentic Filipino dish! Pinaputok is a Filipino term which means burst or explode! Yes, this dish is exploding or bursting with delicious flavor from the different ingredients stuffed inside the fish. Wrap it in foil, bake & broil it to get the crispy skin that adds smokey flavor to the fish. Kain po tayo! Let’s eat!
Ingredients
Mackerel ( wash & path dry )
1/2 Onion ( slice )
1 Tomato ( slice )
Small piece of Ginger ( slice )
5 to six cloves of Garlic ( crush )
1 stem of Lemongrass ( cut into pieces )
1 Lemon ( slice )
Olive oil or any cooking oil you prefer
Seasoning
1 tsp salt ( 1/2 tsp to season the fish & 1/2 tsp to season the ingredients)
1/4 tsp of ground black pepper
