You said you order your pine needles from Florida, what is the name of the place that you order from? You are an excellent teacher !!! I took a class and left not knowing much more than I started with. Thanks for taking the time to show us

when working with art. sinew, do you split it or use it whole?

Sorry for the delay in responding, but just figured out I could not reply using iPad. Had to log on to the computer to see the reply box. Jim, I use various sinews....most recently, the single end sinew from Consolidate Thread company. They also carry sinew that has several ply. Judi, I usually split the sinew if it has ply, but the single end sinew mentioned above does not need to be split. Lisa, I've answered your questions on other video posts. I do not use sinew exclusively however. I actually prefer waxed linen threads from Royalwood Ltd.

Most of these came from Judy Mallow at Www.primpines.com.. most are agates. She also has some fossils.

What kind a pine needles do you need to use.

+MrMunchiemo , I typically use Southern Long Leaf pine needles. Most are at least 12 inches long. If I order them from Florida, they are often 15-18 inches long. The needles I have been able to find locally are the 12 inch needles.
