Pineapple Pork Ribs 凤梨排骨 Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs with Pineapple 黄梨酸甜排骨
Hey everyone, welcome back to g8stromania. This week, we are going to introduce Pineapple Pork Ribs. Essentially, it's flavour is similar to sweet and sour pork, but with the added refreshing taste of pineapples. It's a dish that looks great and smells appetizing. Definitely one that is great for family gatherings.
For this dish, you will need the following ingredients:
450g pork ribs
Half red and green bellpeppers
4 cloves of garlic
1 whole pineapple
Pork Ribs Marinate:
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp shaoxing wine
1 tbsp light soy sauce
0.5 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp corn starch
1 tsp sesame oil
Sauce:
3 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp plum sauce (酸梅酱)
4 tbsp pineapple juice
Steps:
1. Marinate pork ribs and refrigerate at least 1 hour
2. Prepare the sauce and mix evenly.
3. Double fry the pork ribs until crispy and golden brown.
4. Remove fried pork ribs and set aside.
5. Fry garlic mince until fragrant.
6. Stir fry bell peppers until they no longer smell raw, then set aside.
7. Add sauce and reach a boil.
8. Taste and adjust the sauce to personal preference.
9. Add in the pork ribs and pineapples. Mix evenly.
10. Add in the bellpeppers and remove afterwards.
11. Serve in the shell of the pineapple.
