In 1979 my parents sold our home to a British couple. Back then, owners met the new buyers. The buyers were British. I was 9yrs old. The British buyers had a 10yr old son who had a little crush on me. He gave me this album as a gift for letting him live in my home lol. Best day EVER!!! I was glued in between my parents large floor speakers for the better part of the year. If you’re reading this Kevin, you literally changed my life that day. Many thanks ❤

I worked on a Floyd show in Milwaukee. It was late 80's, early 90's . Post Waters, stage had two levels, lower level could not be seen by the audience, had back up musos and vocalists. I stood right next to the mix position, FOH, very elaborate. 2 Midas consoles, two 16 track tape machines, this was before Profools, one guy working the live sound mix, another guy working sound effects mix, another guy taking care of the tape machines. I had the best seat! Oh, and pre show, there was an extremely long line for the female bathroom and one young gal was about thirty in line and she gave up, yelling "I can't take this!" and she just stood there and peed in her Levi's!

+Jonatan Olsén Earls Court 1980 for Pink Floyd fans is the most rarest concert on this planet, we have NO high quality videos of this. Just good audio. Edit 11/12/15: Also, wanna know a cool fact? Roger caused this concert to look like shit on camera, Pink Floyd also almost went bankrupt because of this concert.

+KILLER115X935 roger will not release the master. He put on a great show when I seen him a few years back but in my opinion he was a prick back then and a prick now. He's getting old and wants us to remember him in a positive light now. That's why he acts so different now. There were rowdy people at the show I saw and he never stopped the show to curse them like he did in the 70s. Oh no he's a good guy now. BULLSHIT he's a phony now. That's just my opinion......

Actually they put out the audio to this tour years ago just not the video. The set is called "Is there anybody out there? The Wall Live 1980-81. So the audio to this video is great because it is most likely from the official release. Roger owns the rights to the Wall and it is up to him to release the video. He did his version of the Wall anyway which is really great.
@terrencereardon6374

Ryan, Roger was dead set against Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live's release. He was outvoted 4-1 by David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Rick Wright and manager Steve O'Rourke. Roger called it "bottom of the barrel scraping" until Roger's son said "dad people love live music". Roger was also against the use of Storm Thorgerson for its artwork. Roger oversaw The Final Cut reissue in 2004 and that had no involvement from Gilmour nor Mason. Also Animals was Roger's baby. Plus Roger has stated since 1989 that he was going to put out a live film of the 1980-81 shows but he hated the limitations of VHS but with Blu-Ray and DVDs and 5.1 he has slowly been putting it together. If the concert films were in Gilmour's possession they would have been released ALREADY!

Daddy's flown across the ocean Leaving just a memory Snapshot in the family album Daddy what else did you leave for me? Daddy, what'd'ja leave behind for me?!? All in all it was just a brick in the wall. All in all it was all just bricks in the wall. When we grew up and went to school There were certain teachers who would Hurt the children any way they could By pouring their derision Upon anything we did And exposing every weakness However carefully hidden by the kids But out in the town it was well known When they got home at night, their fat and Psycopathic wives would thrash them Within inches of their lives We don't need no education We dont need no thought control No dark sarcasm in the classroom Teachers leave them kids alone Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone! All in all it's just another brick in the wall. All in all you're just another brick in the wall. We don't need no education We dont need no thought control No dark sarcasm in the classroom Teachers leave them kids alone Hey! Teachers! Leave us kids alone! All in all it's just another brick in the wall. All in all you're just another brick in the wall.
