Always thought it could have been released as a single, it has that pop quality to it, without that being meant as a bad thing of course. I guess they didn't want people to listen to it out of context and think the lyrics are as shallow as they seem. If you can’t appreciate that this song this band is the best, tied with Queen, then you have no soul, no conscious of the human condition connected through notes, beats, sounds, that lift to the heavens and beyond, it’s an experience every damn time, I’m in the heavens floating, where are you?

Pretty sure Waters is saying "get down and pray" sarcastically. He and Gilmour were known to fight for the spotlight

The reason Gilmour is my favorite guitar player is because when you’re playing you can say Im going to play a Gilmour style solo. The man created a style of his own. There are not many guitar players like that.

So powerful, yet so calming, David G is just so effortlessly handsome and one with his notes, Roger was made for that moment on stage, music will never be like this ever, ever again

The seemingly intimate moment of the sharing of the microphone makes you wonder if Gilmore ever entertained the thought of giving Waters a sharp uppercut to the chin.
