Hey everyone! I got some questions about the Pinkbike reference. I'm referencing a few comments made on their podcast (episode 198) between 27:19 - 29:45. The Loam Ranger made a really good video articulating the frustration - kzitem.info/news/bejne/zKKIsIJqfZqZomk Let's keep things positive though! Thanks for watching the video and joining me on my MTB journey. I fell in love with the sport and just want to share how amazing it is with any to see. Don't forget, the most important trail of the day is the next one 👍

This is why the PB Editors' comments made no sense! This is what MTB'ing is all about, and so much more immersive and relatable as a rider. Also. You bumble on a very high level. And very nicely filmed and editied. And also also, contacts! Having messed with googles and riding glasses with prescription inserts, and fogging everything up, I finally tried contacts lenses, thinking I was never going to get used to them, but maybe I could survive them while riding... Today, I use them every day, and it's made riding 100% more enjoyable. Just saying. And if anyone what's to get in on a sticker idea: "Pinkbike Approved Professional Bumbler" ... :)

Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind words. I've thought about contacts but ended up doing the goggle insert/sunglasses route... Sounds like you've had a great experience with them! I'll have to look into them again.

Pinkbike's comment was unacceptable. I personally find its not always the riding in the video, but more of the comment during the riding. I personally enjoy watching someone having fun and riding slow while making great comments while doing all of that than watch some ride fast and dont say anything. Great video bro!

Not being able to brake on rocks or roots doesn’t leave much to brake on… also thanks for bumbling down the hill for us. I love Henry and pink bike but he’s outstanding in his own field sometimes. My favourite biking videos are watching people ride north shore and similar tracks. Edit: I should add as a new emtb owner it’s nice to see others riding them as it’s not exactly the same.

These kind of vids are the best as everyone can see exactly what the trail looks like and how gnarly a lot of the features are. This definitely looks like it was filmed in Squamish B.C 🤔 Also what brakes do you have. At the start of the vid they sounded like a cruise ships fog horn 😂 Great vid

I personally don't like watching people riding new trails poorly. I did like the trail descriptions though and it would be really hard to ride this in the wet. However, with more YT exposure a trail like this, more and more folks will check out the trail now and skid down the parts they can ride and walk the rest. This trail is already heavily eroded and unmaintained. Don't take it personally what someone says on the internet and keep shredding!

Thanks for bumbling down the trail and recording it for us. Great overlook of the trail for us normal people. As for your goggle situation, I have been using prescription safety glasses instead of goggles. Less issues with fogging up, lighter on the face and if you need it you can get them in transition lenses or permanent tint lenses. Usually the frames themselves are pretty reasonable in cost as well.

On Pinkbikes podcast (episode 198) Henry Quinney (Pinkbike content creator) said that if influencers could be doing the "actual thing" (as in racing) then they would be, but they can't so now they're doing tiktok dances and making POV content like 'best trail in BC, now watch me walk it'. Then on the same podcast Mike Kazimer (pinkbike content creator) also said "we have to do something, there are gigabytes and gigabytes of just like people bumbling down easy trails. Which is great, it's fine to document your adventures and things on GoPro... but I do feel like uploading it to KZitem is to much."
