Just picked up this same amp today, it was thrown out with someone’s hard rubbish, couldn’t believe it. It has a euro or US power plug so I need to get that changed and needs a good clean, hopefully it works. PS - Making Movies is one of my all time fav albums.

Excellent video. Can I ask how sound compares to your Sansui AU 101? I have one and I love it. do you rate this pioneer as better or worse sounding than the Sansui? Cheers.

They are completely different amps and I love them both. The 101 is a very musical amp and the 6300 is bright and detailed. Both have their place in any decent vintage collection

@@soundsofwhen Thank you. It seems that these monitors have a high sensitivity (91 db) so I can understand why that little amp works and sounds so well. Greetings from Spain!

Hi, what do you think of this amp. Thinking of getting one. Also the HMV TA20, is that a good one too?

I'd value the SA-6300 over the HMV. I've not personally heard the TA20 but I think Pioneer has a better reputation but I may be wrong. Trust your ears if you can get a demo

in the specs the output for the amp is 10 W/Ch aprox. ( I hope I read well). Is it good or bad ? :)

Loud enough for a small room. Goes great on some bookshelf speakers
