Did my training in the family Turbo Aztec. It was very forgiving. Spent many safe hours in that airplane, in lots of IFR, all over the USA. I was very lucky to be able to operate that airplane. N44544.

Good video. Recovery is usually flaps, gear, flaps, flaps though in that order.

Yes , you are right. We take two notches of flaps on go around to avoid the gear horn. :-)

We train to apply go around power then take out two notches of flaps so the horn doesn’t go off then gear up and then final flaps.

I wish I had my multi training in the Seminole but I got it in the Baron 58. That was too much power for a novice.

Pretty terrible VMC demo habits. PARE. Bring the power all the way back, neutralize the ailerons, and shove that nose forward. If you’re only bringing the power slightly back and “marrying” the engines you have a terrible habit forming for if you have an actual VMC stall spin develop. The ACS requires you to decrease the angle of attack during recovery. The VMC demo in this video is an automatic fail in a checkride.
