Good Morning folks. I've uploaded another review video. Hope you enjoy it. The Piscifun Alijoz 300 may just end up being a great reel for a swimbait guy that is just getting into throwing big baits or for a guy on a budget. Please comment below and let me know how your Piscifun reels have performed for you!! Thanks for watching..

Thanks for posting the reel and linking it to your video. Just ordered one for myself. Excited to try it out. As a beginner to the "big baits" This is a budget friendly option. I already have a Dobyns Swimbait rod to pair it with. Cant wait to get it out there!

Wayyyy over kill for bass. I catch muskies with this reel and they don't even pull drag.. shouldn't need over a 100 size reel for bass. My dad uses a 200 size reel for muskies.

Yeah I get that. It's not overkill if you're using 25# test mono and need the line capacity. Appreciate the comment.
@VG-913

@BigBaitPosse don't really need more line capacity than you can cast. With 25lb you're not going to break off on a 5lb bass just tighten the drag

It’s a great swimbait reel. Lots of guys use them as musky reels and out in saltwater. I run 25# trik fish line on mine. Great reel. I’ve had no issues

Hi mate just a personal experience,I would never order anything from Piscifun through AliExpress ever again I ordered a Piscifun chaos xs50 and it took the best part of 6 weeks to arrive.When I started asking questions they couldn't even assure me I would even receive it Personally I would pay a bit more and go with either Amazon or Piscifun direct.All the best.

@@CrunkyOMan83 That's not too bad,as I say what happened to me was just personal experience and to be fair I am in Australia and it was international shipping.But I ordered other things after from different places that arrived before my Piscifun reel,I will definately not be using AliExpress again,just Amazon or direct through Piscifun themselves. On a bright note the reel is great,good value ,really like it. All the best.

Haven't tried any of the offerings from Piscifun or Kastking yet, but I've been very happy with a cheap Pflueger baitcaster I bought about 3 years ago. Def like it better than my lower end Lew's. I've heard there are only a handful of reel factories out there, so the same line that's putting out these are also probably putting out some high priced stuff as well. Probably will last you just fine I'd guess!

Nope at the time I bought and reviewed it I think I I said, “ this reel may fall apart tomorrow but I’ll only be out 85$ if it does. “ It’s a workhorse. I’ve been throwing big swimbaits with it for months and it’s still going strong. . Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting.

@@BigBaitPosse thanks for the reply. Just curious, I mostly sling plastic worms & ocassionally fish for catfish. But, I'm very impressed with the build quality (& Price!!) of this reel. What do you think the lightest lures/baits I could effectively cast with it? Any reply would be greatly appreciated!

Well I’m not quit sure about that. I’m running trilene 20# big game on mine and it’s set up for big baits. I’m throwing baits up to 3.5 oz on this set up. I know I was a bit worried because I believe the reel specs call for up to 15-17# test. I wondered about line capacity. I would guess on a regular bass rod you could use the reel with lighter line.. and probably get by throwing 1/2 oz to 3/4 oz baits. I may be mistaken but I believe the reel was set up as a saltwater reel. Anyway, I love the reel. It’s been great. Great reel for the money.

So far.. 2 trips, the reel has held up great. I’m going to abuse it pretty good and see how long it last. I happened to snag a 15# walleye last trip, in the side somehow, so the drag got a good work out!! No issues so far. Seems like a solid reel but time will tell. This could end up being a great swimbait reel for a guy just starting out or for a guy on a budget. Really smooth casting reel, really smooth retrieve and drag set up. Really low profile also. Fits my hand really well.

I’ve tried not to compare it to another reel I guess. The abu and shimano are gold standards in my opinion. I believe this is a good option for a guy on a budget or just starting out.

it is excellent. Still going strong. Have not had one issue. It's my main swimbait reel and has caught hundreds and hundreds of big smallmouth. I sling 5" -8" bullshads with that reel. Best bang for your buck.

why do you use such heavy mono? ive pulled in 20lb plus stripers for years, 30 lb cats, 30 pound carp etc, with 15 pound mono......your casting distance would improve several yards if you dropped back....20 lb is really overkill....i just ordered 4 of these , coming tomm from amazon.....hope they are as good casting as everybody says

@@BigBaitPosse I tend to spend more $ on rods than reels. I am not the best with preventative maintenance, so I usually stay on the lower price range of reels.
