Any idea why my pilot isn't heating up a thermopile enough? Got a Royal RFT-50 on propane, mechanical like this one. Thermopile doesn't reach high enough mV to turn burners on, but high enough to keep pilot going. Just replaced thermopile and tested with multimeter, so I know that's not the issue.

Hi. I have a question.I'm using the Pitco 40d fryer, so I don't know which one is the problem. The pilot is on fire, but he doesn't maintain it.Can you tell me which is wrong?

Hey, thanks for the video. I have recently purchased a Pitco donut frilator and I could use some advice. I want to convert from electronic ignition to manual like you did, however when I called the Pitco company they refused to help me convert. The guy said they could only sell me parts related to the current setup. What company did you order from to make the conversion? My Pitco fryer is Model #24RUFMS-J. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm doing a donut food truck and the less electricity I can use, the better! Thanks again for the video.

Are you still able to source those Honeywell mV valves? I can't find any anymore
Good old SG14 and SG18 Pitco millivolt. Have twelve of these scattered around my facility. Fortunately none of the newer "intelligent" models.

You can find sg14 millivolt Pitco’s around, you’d just have to convert to propane valve for your use

You can put both wires on the same side of it. Or you can cut the 2 wires running into it and wire but them together. However you can NOT operate it that way. It’s just for diagnosing.

Looks like you talk about me ^^, but yeah I see these things are so badly designed, the next worth place to put the controller is literally inside the oil 🤣🤣🤣 (so yeah this is design to fail literally)
