My dad worked for The Pittsburg Coca-Cola Bottling Company before he went into the Army after high school. Pittsburg Texas, not Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.

I think I heard a train in the background running across a diamond? Nice video, I enjoyed it very much!

The Biedenharns had a museum in Monroe Louisiana, cant remember the age of the bottling company there though, but I have dug in the old Monroe dump years ago and found some hutches, unfortunately not coca-cola...

I've been pulling old bottles out of my local river in the DFW area of Texas. Some are similar to the ones you find, mostly old sodas. Old Coke's are the most common. I could use some help finding where they are washing out of the bank. If you are interested in a little joint venture let me know. It's just a hobby for me not a business so we can work it out to make it worth your time.

I may be coming back to Texas in the winter, remind me in a few months and we will make some plans.

I'll put a reminder in my calendar. After Thanksgiving? After Christmas? Any idea when?

I live in the Plano/McKinney area of DFW and have some great old spots that produce every time. Maybe we can all meet up and find some great bottles

I'm down for that. What all do you find? I'd love to pick up some Native American artifacts and I always collect a few pounds of fired lead to melt down.

I would give you some, but it would cost $40 to send a box of bottles to Canada
