I would love to buy pixel 7 pro but it is still expensive, it cost here 800 swiss francs, while Galaxy A53 cost only 300 swiss francs. Been using apple for many many years. Tomorrow my Galaxy A53 white will be delivered 😍

When I bought the Pixel 6 the first thing that came to mind was it reminded me of an iPhone but more user friendly. It's truly an outstanding phone and the Android 13 update coming in a few weeks, I think it will be even better, if that's possible.

@Presta chuck Not that great. I used one for 2 months, with extreme battery saver mode on I was getting 4hr SoT. Fingerprint sensor is garbage, display feels cheap, and forget viewing it in sunlight. the touch-screen isn't very good. network connection drops was very common. I sold the 6a and went back to my galaxy note9

Yeah I currently have the 4A 5G And I'm anticipating the 6A I love the bare bones aspect of the pixel and it is not bogged down with a bunch of other shit from Samsung and all those other brands It streamlined much better and the only reason I didn't buy the previous flagship models was because I didn't care for the camera bump on the other pixel devices but since they took the camera bump off there's no reason that I can't get the phone now.

I think this has convinced me that 6a is the way to go. 1. it's smaller and I have small hands 2. My current phone is 5 years old and nothing is slower than manually typing in a 9-character password and having a 30-second shutter speed so simply having a print reader is a huge upgrade. I think the only thing I'm iffy on is the lack of a headphone jack but there are adapters for that so it isn't a true deal breaker for me

i had a galaxy, then switched to a sony xperia 1 and this phone has been so amazing i think my next phone will definitely be another sony. only problem is they are so expensive on release, i gotta wait a year or 2 after they release until the price drops. i bought my current phone when it dropped to $800, i'm thinking of holding onto it for a few more years until the xperia 1 v releases and drops to under $1,000. honestly the one i have still works like new and does everything i need it to perfectly, so i'm not in a huge rush.

@Xevos I'd just choose to use a PIN, if it's a problem. I've also read that the system's fingerprint hit space in the phone is slightly to the side of the finger pic on the phone face.

@I'm getting Old 6a beats the a52s in software, cameras, SOC speed and storage speed. The a52s has a headphone jack, a much better display, louder speakers, faster charging and $$$. As a main phone, get the pixel, but as a backup the Samsung no doubt

I was lucky to test both of the phones, while initially I was planning to use Pixel 6A, the smaller size and not very bright screen, swayed me over to Samsung A53. I was biased against Samsung, but after using it for a couple of days, realized that it's a really good phone. The only thing I don't like is Samsung's pre-installed apps, some of which can be disabled or uninstalled easily. So, if you like me undecided between these two phones, see if you can get your hands on both of them!

I got the Pixel, but it's my 2nd Pixel so I already know I really like Pixel UI and features. The 6a looks gorgeous too. Samsung offers the A53 in bright colors outside of the US, it's too bad we only get one choice.

@loka sanjari It’s not exynos sensor, just samsung manufacturing. It’s like it’s build by samsung but designed my google. Like apple design their chips but tsmc makes them. And the chips themself can’t slow down it’s just that samsung software is bad

From what I can see, the A53 does not have eSIM support whereas the Pixel 6a does. The eSIM on my Pixel 4a has been invaluable. If you travel a lot, this is a must have. This is one key feature that would stop me from choosing the A53.

I just purchased a Pixel 6a. After using it for three days, I wish it had a larger battery and a telephoto lens. I'd gladly give up the ultra wide lens for a true telephoto lens. Digital zoom looks terrible on every phone.

@Rob Tyman Possibly. I can only go by my Pixel 4a which has great picture quality, especially the night mode. I'm going to guess that the 6a has had further improvements. I'm looking forward to trying a 6a out soon.

@A I know it's an exynos, but dude, apart from the battery drain in standby when I use mobile data which could be lower, idk, but I've personally never had these problems. The only time my Pixel gets warm is in the sun (and probably if I played a game on it), which is only natural. Secondly, idk what some of u are crying about the video camera. Yes, it isn't on Samsung or Apple level, but damn it's fine for almost anyone who doesn't do this for their life. In exchange u get a great photo camera, which is much more Important in my opinion. Furthermore, yes the fingerprint reader is slower than other phones, but coming from a OP7T it doesn't really feel any slower. Maybe a tiny bit, nothing I'd that ruins my experience, like wth you guys seem to be addicted to speed or something. And lastly connectivity issues. Idk if it's different where you life, and I'm aware that the antennas used are pretty cheap, but I've never had more problems with connections than with other phones. Mobile Data is fine and while Bluetooth has it's cuts every now and then, it's something I have experienced with every phone I had so far. Furthermore, while again, yes it's an exynos, it doesn't mean it sucks. They never designed it to hit the benchmark and raw performance scores a SD888/Gen 1 or an A15 does, but for artificial intelligence specifically, which works wonderful. So yeah, it isn't the most powerful, but they used the base they had perfectly for what they needed. Still, I agree with you that the Pixel has some things to improve. The fingerprint reader definitely could be faster, but as I said, it doesn't bother me. Also, as I said, battery drainage when in standby on mobile data is higher than I'd expect. Still, I think for 900€ (now less) it was the best phone one could get for late 2021 till now with the P7 Pro arriving.

@Tickilp Spending $900 on a phone that drains battery, overheats, has a mediocre video camera, has a camera bar design that causes lens flare so bad it often makes night sight pictures unusable, has a budget phone's fingerprint sensor, has constant connectivity issues- I can understand why you would be in denial about your P6 Pro's performance. Tensor is a rebranded Exynos. It sucks.

Thanks for the honest comparison video. Congratulations on the wedding!! Had it been a 90Hz display it would ve made the 6A a great deal. Still going with the Pixel for the camera and Processor. A53 is not bad at all. Tough to choose, but 6a it is. Thanks

The frontal camera is not sharp at all! It's as if it had a "face filter" but I didn't ask for it.. I think I have to send it back

@newfnshow031 - You couldn't be anymore wrong. The speakers on the 6a are 2x better than the A53. A53 sounds way too tinny. Plus, battery life on my 6a excelled the A53 I bought and tested for 14 days. I returned the A53 for a refund. Maybe Samsung will get it right with the A54, but it's very doubtful. The Pixel 7 Pro is a more desirable smartphone over the S22 Ultra.

If only the pixel 6a came with more storage options or SD card slot I'd buy it. I like to carry a lot of music so need more space. I really like the styling of the pixel better than the A53 and the better cpu. However I purchased the A53 pre release and got it unlocked with free wireless buds. I added an SD card and it's been working great on Visible wireless since April. The 5G is only midland not ultra wide but I believe the pixel 6a is the same. I should also note that so far samsung has provided some kind of software update every month, although not as early in the month as I hear the S series phones receive them. Over all I think both are good. The storage options are very important to me so the Samsung galaxy A53 wins for me.

Agree, lack of SD slot is very disappointing, though I do understand the pixel line has never had them (doesnt make it right!). Mobile apps are so bloated these days, and every update just makes them bigger.

@Lin Cas I've been getting the android security updates every month on the a53 usually in the second half of the month. It may mot be as soon as pixel but better than moto and others are doing on mid range phones

Surprised and pleased with my A53. The Samsung environment allows me to have notes, reminders and contacts shared with my Samsung tablet (Galaxy S7+). Also, there is plenty of storage and with 6GB of ram, all my apps and Android 13 work seamlessly. Best combo I've ever had.

Both are great, but nothing really beats stock android imo and also the pixel has a faster processor that's from flagships so that's a win for me and also just a better camera when it comes to colors on photos

Samsung continuing to offer some great phones that don't break the bank. I like the look of the phone as well: the plastic certainly doesn't look cheap and that molded look for the cameras on the back is a nice touch, more effort than you would expect from essentially a "discount phone".

Both are great values. Such a hard decision! The A53 has the better display, but the Pixel takes more natural photos. I'm personally getting a 6a as a secondary ($300 trade in + $99 Buds for free!).

The display is more important than pictures. You're looking at the display far more often than to pictures.

That sounds like a good deal. Where i'm at though the A53 is offered trough carrier discounts and can be gotten for less than 200€ while the Pixel is about 460€ and cannot be gotten cheaper, so at such prices, the equation changes totally

@sappyjohnson A poster above goes into detail about how his 6a overheats. He gets a "your phone is too warm" warning under mild normal use repeatedly. Maybe it's a bad production batch?

I'm leaning more towards the 6A. Especially since I currently have a Pixel 4A 5G and anticipating on the pixel watch to pair with the new phone probably going to get for Christmas, but I appreciate your comparison of both phones.

The display was a bit of a bummer but still for overall use of the phone that someone will use for 3-4 years I would definitely recommend the Pixel 6A because of performance and cameras. I use Pixel 6 Pro as my main phone and I don't even notice the fingerprint is slow (I know it's slow but doesn't affect my usage of the phone at all).

For me it came to the Samsung having a removable back cover. This makes a huge difference when doing a home repair as the screens are often very fragile and are easily broken when taking it off adding ~£70 to your repair job.

@Ranved Sticon No. The pixel has to have it's screen removed in order to replace the battery or any other component. This is very time consuming as you have to remove and reapply glue while being careful not to touch the digitiser. If you go to a repair shop this is less of an issue because they have better tools but for a phone at this price point that's often too expensive to justify.

I bought A53 before I even considered the Pixel. Because Google phones are pretty much unavailable in my country. But after seeing this video, I'm happy that I got the A53, due to the screen and especially the video performance. Thank you!

wireless charging is not as efficient as regular wired charging. it consumes more electricity to fill the battery the same amount.

Thanks for this comparison. As always a great video! I'm still using my 4a and I'm really happy with it. So, if I had to, I'd take the 6a. But I think my old 4a will stay with me till the 7a comes next year. If I'd have a wish for your Pixel Buds Pro video... please make a comparison between all pixels buds. Pro, A and the first generation.

I've had the Pixel 6a for 5 days now and have a few concerns. The phones gets warm very fast and the battery life is not so great. I was at a music festival over the weekend and I was excited to have a new phone since I wouldn't need to charge it. Wrong, I had to charge it up at the various charging stations - glad that was an option because I didn't bring a power bank or charger cable. I do like the size, the camera and the general look and feel of the phone.

Yeah it can get warm and the battery life is not the best but I've found that battery almost gets rid of both of those problems

6A all the way....with one caveat. You'd be better off buying the standard Pixel 6 instead because you get so much more for just a tiny uptick in price. I love my 6 despite the poor fingerprint sensor and I also love the great support I'm getting both now and in the future that Google is offering that Samsung simply can't, or wont, match. The choice is pretty clear here to me.

@Michael Livote mine freaks out on me every time I've tried it. It would charge for a bit then stop completely and I'd have to turn off the phone and turn it on again to get it to charge. My first pixel 6 showed up with a faulty screen so I wouldn't be surprised if it's another hardware issue.

Honestly after using my wife's 6a, I'd trade my pixel 6 for a 6a... The 6a takes better photos in a lot of cases, it's got much better in the hand feel, easier to one hand and way lighter. I never use wireless charging because for the most part it's buggy and a lot of times the phone doesn't want to charge, the difference between 60, 90, and 120 is minimal when you daily a 240hz monitor. The pixel 6 drops frames often enough that it might as well just be a 60hz display and that's fine. After adding my fingerprint to the wife's 6a it's easily a better fingerprint scanner. Detects my finger more often than my pixel 6.

Dang, that Pixel 6a video looks great! I've got the 4a 5G and love it. My wife has the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and my Pixel takes way better photos. If shep wanting a good picture of something, she'll always ask me to take the picture with my phone. So far I'm really loving the Pixel a series, so I'm happy to stay with that line.

thanks for the video :D I was skeptical on 6a and a53, but for me. Seems like the A53 will be better suited for me in the longer run. I've been using the Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge Version 1 since like 2015. if it isnt broke, why upgrade? Well seems like my little guy is on its final leg, the memory chip on it is starting to go, and get constant crashes. A53 seems like it'll be the GTX1660 of phones for me. Great info and examples in the video.

Get the A52s it has snapdragon 778G which snappier and very smooth than the A53 the cameras are just the same also A52s has a 3.5mm jack

I think the a53 5g will do better overall. I looked closely at the pixel 6a but it had too many flaws.

Still locking my A72 from last year. A great phone for great price but always liked the Google camera magic but still I do take pictures so rarely. The feature I like on A72 is the optical 3x zoom which lacks on the new A53 but still great value and great video

After watching I actually think the Pixel phone seems a little better but depends what you are really wanting in a phone I suppose. The Pixel phone just seems more future proof in my opinion.

Pixel 6a appeals to my aesthetics; minimalist, functional, elegant. I'll probably be keeping these for a long time unless a similar design comes up in 3 - 4 years

I'm coming form a Pixel 3 and the 6a has twice the storage which I didn't even use all of in my 3. So I think the camera quality is the sell for me since I don't use the wireless charging, never use the speakers. The real sell for me is the chip in the 6a and how android is customized for the chip. I'm looking at the 6a so far. Thank you and Congratulations!

Thank You Mike for the good video. It does call out the strength of each phone. If we treasure the picture quality and CPU performance, choose 6A. Other wise, if we treasure the display, extensible RAM storage and and feature, then choose A53.

It would seen like there would be more to go with the A 53....BUT the pixel will get 5 years of updates and it's cameras are second to none and it's tactile haptics are very satisfyingly clicky. Agree also that these are very much the iPhones of Android. Just got the 6a delivered on my birthday July 28. This is my 3rd A series phone and all three have been fantastic. This 6a so far is the best.

Ive been thinking about the getting the Pixel, however I live in the Caribbean and a lot of Google's services are under par. Not only that but Samsung has done a great job marketing to non US countries and its super popular here. Still, again, a lot of their features are under par because of the location. Not to mention its a bit of gymnastics to get original google products here, but i would prefer the long term software updates etc on the Pixel as well as the Camera.

I'm on Samsung A53. As I owned S4, S7, Note 9 previously, I am not going to buy anything else. This time I wanted to try middle range phone then I just researched some reviews. Now I recently bought my new A53 blue. It can't beat my previous note 9 from 2018 but overall I like it. Thanks for your review.

If for a hobbies photo bug the Pixel is brilliant. All that cool stuff missing, most buyers in this range wouldn’t notice or not willing to pay more to have it. I like Pixel now for low light compact on the go but Samsung for more work oriented stuff.

The most unbiased review I ever watched. Thanks for the video. I am leaning towards galaxy a53 because of the expandable storage and longer OS support 4yrs OS and 5yrs security bigger battery for longevity, and that one UI. But pixel 6a is ok too if you want flagship processor and stock android.

I haven't used an a53, but the 8nm processors of the LG G8 and A52 are less than optimal for the fast research and browsing that I do. The 5nm detuned processor and ability of aquiring a used A53 for less than $200 are definitely big selling points for me as I invest my money into other projects; I don't need a very fast phone, only one that can last a long time, has great speakers for music, great cameras, great microphones, and deliver GPS for when I travel long distance on my ebike. I don't play video games, so GPU performance isn't an issue for me. Any of us can get caught up in comparing specs, but regardless of the device you use, what's matters is that it suits your needs. 🌎✨

I have both Phones right now. The A53 has shitty video recording stabilization, but has better low light resolution taking pics in dark areas. The stereo speakers on the A53 sound really good, but the 6a can rival the speakers pretty close. The panel on the A53 is bright and vivid on the AMOLED screen and 120htz refresh rate. The 6a is a really nice size phone. Has nice build quality. Everything Google works superb on it. It also has some features that are exclusive only to Pixel Phones. I don't even notice a difference between the 60htz and 120htz refresh rate lol. I have been testing out the two phones for the last five months and I put my SIM card in the 6a and the A53 is going on ebay.

Speaking of speaker testing, I've found lately it's best not to crank them all the way up. I mean sure they go loud but then they sound tinny. I usually do a notch or two below the max and they sound great.

I'm still using my pixel 3a as well, and im happy with it, the color tone of photos looks similar to pixel 6a, I think u should try the night mode comparison actually, because my friend always shocked when I show the result of nightmode's pixel even they're iPhone user haha. Hope could upgrade to newer pixel this year

I tried both, and the A53 is much better than the Pixel 6a. When you put the two side by side, the display for the A53 blows away the display for the Pixel 6a. The colors are so much more bright and vibrant. Also when it comes to durability, Samsung has always been better than Google

These are my priorities on a phone; 1- Display, as I watch movies in my phone. Dont even use the TV anymore. 2- Battery life - the bigger the better 3- Fast charge 4- Anything else I normally use a case so it doesnt matter how the phone looks like. Therefore, Samsung for me.

I was thinking the same thing originally, but now I'm thinking a 120hz refresh rate will easily drain that battery down quicker than the 6a. The processor is powerful, but its supposedly optimized well. I think I may go with that phone myself. I also love the sound of those speakers! The 53's 120hz is gonna look so good though, so I wont fault you there. I'm upgrading from a iphone 7 plus, so I'm not gonna miss a higher refresh rate though.

I'm looking for a compact phone as I don't like those big bulky screen size phones. Also my priorities are a good multimedia consumption and a good cameras for a trip or any special occasion. And sometimes i edit videos too on my phone. For the compactness, design, performance and cameras I think 6a is killing it and in the segment of good multimedia experience galaxy did a great job. And as both ui are very stable and I personally loved the both so I would say it's a tie in that. So overall as per to my usage and need I think 6a would be a better choice. 👍

For me, the camera arrangement on the A53 is better protected. I do feel that Google could have gone with a tougher screen. When it comes to buying used phones, It helps to settle on design that is inherently more durable. 🌎❤️💪 The LG G8 and S10 5G series have much stronger screens. 😇 Whatever device that we settle on, as long as it performs well for us and that it suits our needs, that's all that really matters. 😇 Stay well and safe travels! 🌎✨

Yeah when you did this side-by-side comparison between the a 53 and the 6A and displaying the camera quality imaging that the Galaxy actually has 4K it is quite impressive that this that the 68 has 10 in AP yet looks way better than then the Samsung.

Pixel 6A has great value and flagship chipset, but what ruins it for me is there's only a 128gb rom option, and there's no 256gb or 512gb option. The A53 is not only cheaper(cheaper in my area by about $80), has 128/256gb options and also memory expansion. A53 wins imo

Don't forget that much more space is taken up in the A53 by Samsung bloatware. So you don't really get 128gb. And altho you have an MD card slot, none of the bloatware can be moved to it, and some third party apps I put on phone and moved to SD card repeatedly returned to the main phone. Samsung has a bloatware issue. This video didn't discuss this issue.

The A53 is a no-brainer if you are picky about displays. I don’t care about displays at all, so I’d take the Pixel for the camera and the CPU. They’re both about equal for long term software support. Samsung has Cotten a lot better at that than they used to be.

@Anin Waloda I didn't review it😉 but if I may give you my opinion: if you don't care about updates, the Pixel 3a is still a fantastic option. Great design, great camera with unlimited free storage in Google Fotos (but in full resolution though), headphone jack, great OLED screen, stereo speakers,.... It may be a little slow now but for everyday and normal use (no fancy games, video editing,...) it should still be absolutely fine.

If the 6A would have had the same 12MPX on the front camera and at least a 90Hz display and Corning 5 glass. It would basically be the winner. Also at least 3 years OS support (don't know what it offers). That said, the camera did look better for the rear, more natural on the 6A despite the old 12mpx cameras. It's the software that does it. I also like smaller phone. I don't need a tablet in my pocket. It's hard to choose between the two. To be honest though I am not a person that needs 120hz or best cameras or super large storage. I use my phone to text, use Wifi on the crapper or on work break etc and just watch videos and browse web. Very few phone calls and occasional snap of the camera. I barely use it beyond "utility" when it comes to camera, as in I take pictures of important things. Not nature pictures etc. I think both would work fine for me. So it will come down to size, price (Canada) and support.

I took the Pixel. I cannot deal with (what I consider) bloat & lag and my brothers A53 on Verizon does lag. My only issue with 6a is size. I actually like some heft to my phone lol. A case will fix this. I'm on day 2 of my 6a. 😍

@butterfingers get the 6, 6 pro or 7. If I had to do it again, I'd take the 6 or 6 pro for similar money. 2 weeks after I got the 6a the price dropped hard for the other 2. I really don't like the camera on the 6a. The night mode really struggles and this is the worst fingerprint reader I've ever experienced. The phone is too small for me. Those are deal breakers. I'm upgrading in a yr or so. Also, This is my 3rd pixel and it's the worst battery experience of the trio.

The only reason I still choose Samsung is in settings, notifications, you can pick notification reminders of 3,5,10 or 15 minutes, and for what apps. I don't normally see other androids with this feature for missed messages. This way I don't have to monitor my phone.

I returned my Samsung A53 5G in favor of a Pixel 6A for an annoying reason. My A53 5G was a real pain to get working with a number of settings missing (e.g., lock to LTE, easy APN setup) needing 3rd party apps that messed enough things that I could not back out of. I got no problems with the Pixel 6A screen and can live with its shorter battery life. In my area, its modem performance is fine. Love the Pixel 6A's processor performance, camera features.

7:33 I think what you noticed is the more saturated image on the Samsung (adding to that is the more saturated-out-of-the-box display. There is almost no way to tell 4K apart from 1080p on 1080p displays, especially not on a small 6.x inches one. I compared 1080p to 4K from my iPhone on a 4K 32” monitor and I could see the difference but it wasn’t massive. Thanks for the overall comparison though!

Like the others, I'd pick the Pixel if it was priced right. Unfortunately in Canada, the lowest sale price you'd find on the 6A is about $575- Cdn + taxes, on the other hand you can pickup a Galaxy A53 for cheaper than an A33 now days, like around $345- Cdn, also the 60hz refresh in the pixel is a bummer. So when it comes down to the price, the Galaxy is a winner and that's exactly what I just ordered. Thanks

@Nick Williams I moved to the 7 Pro now and I love it. But honestly speaking, as long as the 4a is working well, the differences aren't THAT amazing. The camera is slightly better, but mostly because of a few new features, like cinematographic video (blurry background) and the digital erasing of unwanted objects is cool and works great in some circumstances (but not all). The night vision is the same as it was with the 4a, as well as portrait mode. One thing I don't like about it is the lack of an earphone jack...you have to use wireless buds, so that may be an extra expense if you don't already have some. Battery life is great and connectivity via Bluetooth to anything is flawless. Hope this helps.

I've a pixel 6. When I bought it it was the only phone that i could get at the that time. Good camera on my pixel but it gets hot ea time its charged and at 6.4 it's too big for my hand and my pockets. Also my Pixel fingerprint scanner never once has worked. I had to grab an S21 a month later and at 6.1 it fits my hand perfectly AND the camera seems just as good (unless one's gonna get picky). The biggest thing that i miss is the sd slot so im happy to know the a 53 has one. Overall go with Samsung.....too bad it's too large for me.

i like pixel and my favorite feature is the now playing, but the dealbreaker is the screen and 60hz refresh. most of the time were all scrolling through and once you’ve had anything above 60hz, you really can’t go back to it.

I've used both and to be honest I prefer the Samsung. The screen is better and there isn't too much of a difference in camera quality. I do prefer the speakers on the pixel. Overall I like the A53 more.

If you want a better camera, better processor, and cleaner OS, then go with Pixel. But if you want a better screen (120hz), bigger screen, and the need for more space (SD Card-Slot), then get the A53.

I'm strictly function over form, so Pixel is always my preference. I've used a 4A for two years and it's a perfect tool for me. Trading it in and getting the 6A for $150 (plus BudsA earplugs) was a deal I could not pass on. The screens come down to a choice of one or two sugars in your coffee. I don't like it so sweet so 60Hz OLED is just fine for anything I want to do. And I suspect, since you didn't mention it, that Google's night sight is far superior to anything Samsung can do. By the way, you should stop the launching speed comparisons. It looks really stupid when they always come down to less than a second. It's not something anyone would even notice in everyday use. @LordPain Aside form the Faster Updates, Stock Android is better for you just because One UI Feels and Look different? Clearly Subjective. You said Samsung Change a lot of things but cSamsung retains more of the Android 11 than Google's Android 12 (The Notification/Quick Panel) I want you to give me something Objective from Stock Android not just by pointing fingers on One UI. Lastly, you said there's a lot of "Bloatware" in One Ui but in reality there are only 5 (Galaxy Store, AR Zone, Samsung Members and Samsung Global Goals, Samsung Free) which 2 of them can be not installed when setting up, so it is down to 3. The rest are Samsung Apps that are defaults like clock, dialer, etc and Google and Microsoft Services (Partnerships/Integration) I'm a Samsung user and the closest to stock android phone I'd used is from Motorola......

@Aldwin Janri Francisco OneUI is great, but the look and feel of the entire system is different. Samsung makes many changes and add their own set of bloatwares in OneUI which you wouldn't find any in Stock Android OS. Pixel devices will also be the first ones to receive the latest Android updates.

A53 unlocked many times in my pocket and im guessing it was due to the fingerprint sensor. Ended up disabling that and never had the issue again

Thats actually my main problem with samsung, they add really good screens to a super mid processor so the experience in 120hz or 90z is ruined because of the lag of the software and the processor not giving a good performance

This is just the start of the Tensor and we can already see how streamline it is. Yes Samsung always gives some extra bells and jingles but overall but that's about it. I've tried several Galaxy A series, and every single one of them has band issues, even though the carrier sells the phone. And yes I swap the SIM cards on spots between phones and only the A series seem to have band issue.

But with the experience that I have with the A52, I think you are looking at a great option with the A52S, because it has a better processor than the A52, and also it has a higher refresh rate screen, going from 90 hrtz to 120hrtz

I went from the A53 to the Pixel 6.... then went back to the A53, I think the A53 is much better especially in the battery department, pixel 6 was much faster and a better camera but I prefer One UI and the camera is quite good but for me it's Samsung all the way.

Has anyone besides me seen comments on other sites about signal issues with the Pixels? I have a 3AXL and really like it but at times in our rural area it sure doesn't connect as well as my wife's new A53. The A53 is a fine phone but I'm not sure about trying another Pixel after reading about a continued connection issue. My wife's A53 will show two bars in some areas while the 3AXL will show none, same carrier. In a city, though, the Pixels are fun with the latest from Google.

I've had the Pixel 1 (XL) for 4 years now and I ordered the 6a a couple days ago. I recommend you hold onto your 6a for the unlimited photo/video backup Google Photos still offers for that phone (I'm going to) but I'm looking forward to having a capable processor

Wow, very good review mate. You’re one of the first people who I’ve seen do a good video comparison on the A53. Most people, talk about how horrible the A53 is compared to the Pixel 6a.

Congrats Mike on your marriage Excellent videos from u and your team.could u do video on pixel6a with A52s(which has faster sd 778 chip ,so compares well with pixel 6a performance) Thanks Mike
