Please note: If your image does not have an astrometric solution, SPCC won't work. You can go to Scripts/Image Analysis/ImageSolver and search for your object and then click ok to apply an astrometric solution to your image.

When using DBE, prior to SPCC, make sure you choose "Replace Target Image" to preserve astrometric information. If you don't, the processed image does not preserve this information.

As a point of information, storing the Gaia data in the PixInsight folder in C:\Program Files causes it to be deleted if you upgrade PixInsight. You may want to store the Gaia data elsewhere!

This is cool but I miss the old photometric calibration where one loads the focal length, pixel size, time, and then search for an object such as M31. The new SPCC doesn't work for me. Has the old PCC been retired? Love your videos. You're one of the few guys that doesn't compress 10 minutes of info into a 20 minute video.

Thanks! See my pinned comment. Your image needs to have an astrometric solution before SPCC will work. It may have this if this was checked off in WBPP. But if you have cropped the image at all, then ImageSolver in Pix needs to run on the image to re-apply the astrometric solution.
