These are plain scones that even beginner bakers can easily follow! I've tried making them several times, and this recipe turned out to be the most dliecious:) The process is not too difficult, and you should be able to follow along easily!
When I first started making scones, I had to be careful not to melt the butter, and the dough should not be like bread dough. Additionally, depending on the recipe, there might be too much or too little moisture, making it challenging to form the dough or causing it to crumble. So, scones seemed like a somewhat tricky dessert at first!
However, after making them multiple times, I found a recipe with great proportions, making the process easy and resulting in flavorful scones😊
👉Keep them in a breathable bag, like a paper bag, at room temperature for the day you make them or the next day. If you want to store them for an extended period, freeze them immediately!
👉When you're ready to enjoy them, thaw at room temperature or warm them in the oven at 338°F for about 5 minutes!
*Bake at 356°F for 10 minutes after preheating, then increase the temperature to 365°F and bake for 16-20 minutes.
1 egg yolk
100ml milk
60g sugar
3g salt
300g cake flour
6g baking powder
130g butter
*All ingredients should be in a chilled state
