I love your first mentioned unicorn, I have the Eden but I'm going to sell it. Although I love the feel of the fabric, the patterns and the layout, I can't stand the way it closes. Just like your cover story, the "button" is raised and I can't handle that. In my bag the button scratches the leather of my wallet for example. Also, you can't stack other planners on it or standing next to it without damaging the other planners because of that raised button. Somehow it doesn't work for me. I BEG Filofax to give us more choice in compact A5 planners in general. Imagine the Lockwood or Holborn in compact A5... My Unicorn would be an Osterley A5 compact in grey, cognac or stain resistant ivory.

I love that raised, unique button, no other planner brand does that! I see the planners in the Cover Story collection as statement pieces - they're beautiful on their own and they don't need to be anywhere near any other planners. Having said that, however, I was only able to connect with the Flamingo and all the other Cover Stories I purchased I ended up letting go of.
