It's therapeutic watching a tree being planted. :) Great job cutting the branches on that mango tree. I've seen a lot of videos of Richard Campbell pruning mango trees, and that's what he does too. He cuts the branches every time they grow to promote complex branching like a bush. By the way, that paint looks really thick. For the health of the tree, it's advisable to dilute paint with 50% water, since you just want a whitewash. Anyway keep up the great work!

That's some fantastic loamy soil for SoCal. You are lucky to have it. Most of our clay here in OC is pure clay.

Thanks. Our area here used to be all strawberry and vegetable farms, according to some of my elderly neighbors.

Great video Ajmal, Every time you made a cut, my heart stopped. I wish you can air layer those branches. You could of had 3 more mango trees. I hope your tree survives. My mango tree, i have to keep it indoors because i am in zone 6. But i am definitely going to prune it soon, just the way you did. Thanks for sharing Ajmal.

have you seen or heard of rootbuilder pot or airpot? They make it really easy when your are ready to transplant into the ground. Just unzip the cable ties and peel back the panel. Almost no transplant shock.

:) can you install a pump into the ground for water paying only for the electricity or you use tap water? You dont put some dried cow manure deep in the gorund or on the top layer? In my country in big cities people usually plant fruit trees with high trunks outside on the street and inside on the yard as well because of having space under the tree and for more sungliht.. but it makes fruit picking not easy...motivating video:)

Ádám Balog I use tap water. All of the fertilizers like cow manure go on top of the soil. I’ll fertilize in a few months with some fish emulsion. That’s a great idea to plant fruit trees like that. If you have a fruit picking pole, it becomes easier :). Thanks for watching

My manila mango grown from seed keep stopping their growth after about 3-4 months. I've re-potted using 30% sand, 30% peat moss, 30% perlite, and 10% mix of compost, composted manure, worm casting, and myccorhiza. They're getting 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. It's seems to be at a complete halt, and can't produce leaves. Any tips?? These baby's look like they're dying.

@@AJTheGraftMan Once maybe twice a week if temps get into the upper 80s and lower 90s. They're in those standard 1 gallon black plastic nursery pots/containers. This morning I moved them to a morning sun only area and also stopped watering, and will do so until it gets into the mid to high 90s. Any tips??

You’ll never harvest any mangoes where are you planted it? Everyone will pick them before they even ripe. ☹️
