One of my standing beds was lush and pretty before it rained. I didn’t go out in the garden the next day. The following day I go out and all my plants have been destroyed by catapillar worms. EVERY PLANT! It was like a town meeting was being had in all locations! Unbelievable. I don’t generally use anything but there was no way other than an equal match in energy type response. If it’s not the insects it’s the squirrels and birds! 😩 I’m in war mode and on high alert over here! 😩🧐🤣. Your beds are all looking good and thriving! I love that you check things out on the daily. Lesson learned. 💜

I was just thinking about how we are going to to be checking even more to prevent the Tomato horn Worm and the Squash bugs from destroying our crops ❤️😊💚

I just love it. Wish I had a neighbor like you! We'd have such fun complaining, laughing & crying over our gardens. Maybe share veggies & jokes. I wonder if you take your extra produce to a farmers market or soup kitchen. Looks like you grow more than you can eat. Or at least more than I could eat! If I watched all your programs to the end, I wouldn't get any gardening done. I sort of save the good stuff until later when I recover from my garden duties!

I truly enjoy watching your garden content, your personality is a breath of fresh air and I'm learning so many great tips and tricks to implement in my garden. I don't believe that is a kiwi fruit plant. I have kiwi fruit plants in my backyard on a trellis a male and female plant. I wish I can email you a picture so you can see for yourself. Thank you.

Sis the way i'm hollering!!!! you wild yes that looks like kiwi i been wanting to grow that myself. and i dont blame you for wanting to know i'm the same way i want to know as well. i bought what i thought were jicama seeds this year i got played they were NOT jicama i was HOT whatever they are they are growing and i am watching them really close trying to see exactly what this is. i've had not much luck with strawberry seeds germinating (i've gotten maybe 3 plants to germinate out of hundreds of seeds) got lucky the first time with lavender seeds only 3 of a whole pack of seeds came up. but those plants lasted me a LONG time. btw i'm going to get you those honeynut squash seeds. they are fresh so they will be good for some years.

What a beautiful garden, Ms. Linda. I am finding grubs in my containers when preparing to amend the soil. What can I do to eliminate this problem. I know they will ruin the roots of the plants. I've already planted out 14 totes of green beans, but now I'm concerned I may lose them to grubs. What can I do? Blessings 😊

Adding lime around lime loving plants will also control grubs but don’t apply around plants that are sensitive to lime❤️😊💚
