I saw the American hazelnuts at tractor supply but I can’t find information on pollinators to plant with them for good pollination. I only want 3 or 4 of them.

That's a good question. I'm not sure I can answer that as I had to ask our local nursery where I bought them which ones were pollinator compatible. They were very knowledgeable. I'd recommend asking someone at a local nursery. I doubt the employees at tractor supply will know. Hope this helps!

Hazelnut is not found of competition so don't put back the grass after planting. Add a small pile of wood chips instead.

Thank you for the advice! This is our first experience with hazelnuts so I will see about adding wood chips.

How far apart did you plant them?

Good question! I didn't discuss that in the video. I believe they are about 15 feet apart. I understand that they can be up to 30 feet apart. Hope that helps!

You make square holes in the ground, not round holes.
