Great video, is the inoculant just a safety measure to help increase production?

I inoculate all legumes. I understand it increases nitrogen fixation and improves growth. Cheap and easy to do.

Will your durana take over in October once vetch backs off and vice versa for vetch come spring? Sounds too good to be true of a low maintenance plot mixture

The Durana will be slow in the winter then take off in the spring growing all summer moisture considered. Vetch is slow in the spring but gets going strong with warmer temps and will last till frost. Small grains drilled into the durana provide quality forage all winter . Crimson is great winter until about April in the south.

Farm and Ranch I planted durana on a half acre plot in October as a base. I was thinking about no till broadcast jointvetch prior to heavy rain in April. I’m going for low maintenance, ph/shade tolerant year round. Will this have good synergy what are your thoughts?

Is alyceclover seed available this year? If not, is there something else that can be planted with jointvetch or is it best to plant it alone?

Where do you get the vetch?? I want to try it as a cover/summer crop for the deer. I can’t really find it online. Local Co-op?

I have bought it from Hancock seed in the past. I find them a very helpful resource. Hope this helps and good luck with the vetch. Great crop

Roundup area in spring…throw seeds on ground before a rain. The seeds are small & the rain will pound them in the soil.
