This is how I plant my succulent cuttings and duplicate my collection. The succulents showcased here are really easy to grow. They grow fast and are very easy to duplicate.
In this video I’m using super gritty soil mix and it’s very dry. Because I’m planning on growing these eventually outdoors on my balcony. So the soil must be really gritty in order to prevent rotting. Minnesota summers are very hot and humid. Succulents require very breathable gritty soil mix in hot and humid climates or they will rot and die.
The succulents after cutting I set to the side on my table in my plant growing area for a few days allowing the stems to dry and callous over before planting. Also a lot of them already have roots so when I go to water them in a couple of weeks they will grow rather quickly and the roots will take hold in the soil.
