I didn't slow down in fact we bought our first house when I was 4months pregnant with my first child. I had a real bad need to redo the back garden once we moved in, my mum and my mother in law helped. It made me happy. So if it makes you happy and is not super stressful can't see why you need to stop.

I have the same issues with inside watering (water softener is too salty for the plants😦) so I use a collapsable hose that I connect to the outside faucet, water the plants then disconnect, drain and store in a 5 gallon bucket til the next time. Easy- peasy!

If you have a tap upstairs there are connectors you can get to connect a hose to a kitchen or bathroom sink. that way you won't need to worry about the hose freezing.

I keep many large fish tanks and what people do to transport water to and from the tanks without having to use back-breaking buckets is this handy tool called a water changer/siphon. It is basically a plastic hose that connects to your sink and runs to whatever container you need water. You can accomplish the same thing though by getting a long garden hose and hose faucet adapter. I don't know how far away your closest indoor faucet is but I would just get the appropriate length hose and fill up a large trashcan in your plant room via that hose.

About your final hose-to-the-plant-room idea: beware of frost. Once it gets freezing at night, the hose will burst with water turning into ice. It might be both bad for the hose and for the facade of your house. You either need serious insulation, or a better idea

My fiancée took our little golden retriever puppy (with a pink plaid jacket.) for a walk that day and told me when I got home from work that they met you! His words were “that garden lady from Andrews and KZitem lady were planting trees today. Rose met them and loved them.” We are going through our favorite memories with her because she got really sick and died due to a rare congenital disease. Me miss her but we are happy she had so much fun. And she loved your garden center. Thanks! ❤️❤️❤️

1st let me say we love your videos. 2nd I am glad you got the small 1cu bags so your 'worker' didn't have to carry the single 2cu bag. HAHA 3rd put in a small utility sink(cold waters only) and it could drain out to the yard. Water and drain can run in the same or another insulated flashing up the side of house. You can even run a heater along the pipe so it does not freeze.

Just a thought: will you put a water barrel or container in your planting room to fill it up and last the whole winter? That way maybe you can run an inside hose to keep it from freezing, or even better run some water pluming and install a faucet in that particular room....Thank you for sharing with us!

Love your videos! Just a thought...with freezing temps outside wouldn't you end up with a frozen hose? You could always just keep a hose tucked away upstairs and connect it to your bathroom sink when it's needed.
