Me too, I found that hoyas are definitely easier to bring back from the brink of death. I love mr bobo’s deeper short meows its quite cute. For mealies on your crassipetiolata definitely recommend removing all the soil and treating it with 77% rubbing alcohol. I did this for one of my pubicalyx as I was fed up of doing many rounds of treatment. I literally removed all the soil and laid the big plant on the bathtub and sprayed everywhere including the roots incase of root mealies as they can travel upwards too. I did 3 round of spray after letting each round dry up. Used different pot and fresh soil mix and waited till the leaves were dry to place it back on the window. I also dont water on the same day of repot like succulent, I just water the next day due to root breakage meaning more likely for rot. Hopefully your hoya is free of mealy soon so other do not get infested too, I of course went the extreme method after multiple failures. Oh yeah, that hoya has been *knock on the wood* mealy free for 2 years now 😌🥳

Bobo is really something. He wants to be in the videos but also is a cranky one hahah ya I might need to try that method for my Hoya! It gets so annoying to constantly treat but also so much effort to remove all the soil. Decisions decisions

In my case i am trying to revive my melanochrysum for so long but that guy is so difficult, never able to get nice leaves, they get stuck and end up 100% destroyed

Maybe need to up the humidity ? I find I used to have leaves get stuck too but once it was in a more humid environment, that went away for me!
