Looks like could be a very useful tool. What would be the process to get a set of these with a 20 mm shank for my handheld planishing hammer? Thank you.

Hi. I will need a simple line drawing of the die. You can send it to Pat Brubaker or me. Thx Bill

Great video. I have one of your plastic die sets. They work great.

Hmmm... i believe that is due to the elasticity of the plastic, like grit 60 (steel) to 600 (delrin). I wonder how a 6000 would be, maybe rubber, but reinforced like tires. maybe replace block & polish

Not sure I'm following your thoughts on this.

@@williamtromblay6795 the reason plastic hammers smooths the metal is that it is softer, it is reusable because it is elastic. Something even softer will make the part even more smooth! i thought of wood, too, but it probly won't last very long.

Would l be right in thinking , you would need like a linear shaped die if the panel has more shape in one direction than the other, seeing the soft dies only form the metal or you can just use the radius dies to level the metal!

Hi, I have not found the need for plastic linear shaped dies. Most panels have more shape in one direction than the other, I use a die that fits into the tighter of the two radius and it works well.
