I actually think wrinkles on people look good. It can add class to a face, make the person look wiser. Much preferable to looking like you had work done in my opinion. I don't get why regular people are so concerned about looking their age. People getting grey hair dye their hair to hide it, while there are young people who're dying it grey because they like the look. It's like white people trying to get tan while people with darker skin buy products to lighten their skin. Or like people with straight hair curling their hair while people with curly hair straighten it. I don't get why we always try to fix things that aren't actually problems in the first place. Like others have said, the only person bothered by your wrinkles is probably you. And if not, you should try to avoid anyone else who is.

Having gone through mandatory surgery to remove a tumor, the muscle/nerve, saliva glands from my right cheek and all lymph nodes on that side, I am convinced a lot of the people going through surgeries willingly probably have mental issues that should be addressed. Since the right side of my face lost all function I am considering to have some gold inserted to my eyelid so it can close again and probably lift the corner of my mouth since all it can is hang sad right now and I am not a sad person (also will make drinking easier). My six inch scar I will not touch, I am fine with that. It is just to add a little improvement to my life, not to look better. I have to wait a bit though, it is still healing from the surgery and 6.5 weeks of radiation.

You should consider getting medical massage. A dog eat my lymph nodes & tore my eyelid on my right side while I was massage school. The plastic surgeon that worked on me suggested multidirectional cross fiber friction. I had my teacher and my self to help but, my Dr forgot I was in massage school so her initial rec was to do it my self at home. I can blink smile and the scar is so light people hardly notice. I doesn't even matter hold the scar is my partner got run over when they were 3 and stitches don't really grow with you. They had lost all flexibility because of the scar but 5 weeks later and they can fully flex their index finger. It's worth a shot and almost all massage chains have at least 1 lienced medical massage therapists who can do cross fiber friction. But I'm not gonna lie to you it's incredibly painful but it's only a couple of mins once or twice a week.

From my own perspective, I can understand people who want to get 1 maybe 2 cosmetic surgeries. Technically I'm saving for plastic surgery (not going into detail on the Internet but let's just say it's not because I want to look pretty). The problem begins when you have people who want to get stupid amounts of surgeries, and doctors who unethically perform those stupid amounts. Or, people who don't do their research and get cheap surgeries and end up with complications. I've reached a point where I don't judge people for getting cosmetic surgery, but there's definitely problems with the market. That's just my opinion tho.

It’s the most dangerous plastic surgery. Due to the injection of fat there’s a chance of the needle entering the wrong part (blood vessels I believe) and causing deadly complications. If you have a very skilled surgeon it’s a lot less likely and it’s already only like a .1 percent mortality rate but it still is enough that he doesn’t preform this surgery. I once worked in a place that warehouse botox and juvederm. On an annoyingly slow day I read the inserts for those two. I understand why people with chronic migraines or muscle issues that lock you into one position would gamble with Botox. However, I am truly surprised that people will inject those two for wrinkle management. The potential issues outlined in the inserts were alarming. I think I'll take wrinkles over a frozen face, waxy sheen to my skin, or any of the more serious side effects. I've seen people in person and in the media and it seems it is hard to escape the frozen face look. The ones I knew personally looked better before they did the treatments and honestly may have maintained their good looks if they had not continued to layer on more and more filler. Especially the lips. It is like they lost their personalities because their face did not move naturally or much at all, so much of their ability to show emotion via their face was gone. We had Latisse as well. It is supposed to grow your eyelashes. That one was equally scary. Can change the color of your iris permanently, usually blur eyes got darker. Could also cause blindness. Seemed way too risky for the benefit, though I do not personally know people that used the product. Plastic surgery has a place, but too many people are using it to make themselves 'beautiful,' and it is just never enough for too many of them. Sadly, it often does the opposite of what they intended for it to do.

Years ago I saw a show about a woman who was on a news show, in her late 30's and was looking her age. She got a facelift, they cut through some nerve and she ended up having migraine-like pain. Every second of every day. I decided then I would never have any procedure done just to make myself appear younger or more "attractive".

we are all beautiful in our own unique way some don’t need plastic surgery in todays society there is so much pressure to be and to look perfect

I've had issues with my physical appearance since I was about 10. I hate my nose in particular- it looks like a witch's nose. I'm dreading getting married because I hate how I look. I don't like pictures of myself and never have since I became aware of what "beautiful" meant. I get so depressed about it. I'm overweight too, so although I'm working on that I know my skin will never be beautiful, and I'll have stretchmarks and visible veins for the rest of my life. I'm 31, and I have felt this way for about 21 years now. I compare myself to EVERY OTHER WOMAN I SEE. I can no longer be proud of my chest because anyone can now go get surgery to have a better one. That was it, my chest and my eyes were all I liked. I now have a lump in my upper and lower eyelids on one eye so now I don't like my eyes either. Being a girl was tough enough without social media, but now it's just torture. I can't imagine young girls and teenage girls are having a particularly great time unless they're exceptionally beautiful, or rich enough to make sure they are. There it is anyway. The pressure is on to be beautiful or be ignored. If only society and media didn't demand silicone- implanted perfection and a desire for a vainglorious pornified version of what a woman really is.

All I can say is, “Why?”. I’m 61, I try to practice good skin care, vitamin C, retinol, hyaluronic acid, and other such things. I wasn’t trying to look younger, just take care of myself. I have hardly any wrinkles and according to my manicurist, “the softest skin she’s ever seen in someone older”. I can understand getting plastic surgery to fix a deformity or even uneven eyelids or something, but some of this stuff is beyond ridiculous and sometimes can cause permanent damage. Learn to love yourself

I’d like to add: True Beauty has nothing to do with how you look on the outside, Period!! Your body is going to end up like all others, burned or buried ( or hydro’ed)! It is not you. Your Soul is…And you’d better be working on That & using all your money to lift others up!! ❤

Save the cash on a fox eye lift, just use double eyelid tape to change where your crease sits and shave off the tails of your eyebrows and re-draw them higher. Getting good at makeup doesn't leave you with the risk of surgery complications or the inevitable scarring and skin alteration. (Personally fox-eye lifts always hits the uncanny valley for me, the eyebrows look awkwardly stretched with some weird dimpling and it gives an "off" feeling).

My beautiful step mom had threading done and was one of the unlucky 1% that developed an infection and her face filled with fluid. Her cheeks looked like a chipmunk or 100 wasp stings 😢 Thankfully she had the threads removed and all resolved in a week. I'm so thankful she is okay because she is truly beautiful inside and out. ❤

@youtubewontletme
Жыл бұрын
Daughters? Do you think its only women? Also its not good to give fear to someone to do something you dont want them to. Just educate them to know how it works and why it can go wrong. Also plastic surgery is used to help people's health, not just doing unnecessary changes. Plastic surgery can also help someone with a deformed nose to be able to breath again through it for example. Botox is used to treat migraines too.
