I really want to use my LED face mask, but now I'm scared, because I'm seeing these reports of people getting eye damage from them. How can you effectively protect your eyes? The goggles that came with the mask are so uncomfortable, to the point that they feel like they could be damaging the eyes in and of themselves.

I've struggled with wrinkles and uneven skin tone for years. My dermatologist recommended trying red light therapy, so I decided to give it a shot with a panel from Future Form Official. To my surprise, it's been incredibly effective. The panel was affordably priced, which was a relief. After incorporating it into my skincare routine, I've noticed my skin looks much smoother and the fine lines have softened significantly. There’s a lot of scientific research supporting red light therapy, and I’m really grateful for the information shared here. Thanks, Dr. Youn, for highlighting these alternatives!

Extremely dry skin here, always have had this type of skin, since I was a wee child. Age 3 our family internist told mom to use Nivea's blue tin on my skin on top of some sweet almond oil, which you could get by the 100ml from the pharmacy. Still using the blue tin today, age (almost) 52 and it now serves as my "final layer"; I have to keep using it, it is that good! I have replaced the sweet almond oil with a couple other items, a retinol (once a week), a hyaluronic acid serum on the daily, and off and on Neutrogena's retinol booster cream and a couple other plain hyaluronic acid moisturizers + the vit. C serum in silicone (The Ordinary; sadly discontinued; top notch and baby butt smooth). I have to layer, other people think I'm crazy to do so, but if I don't, my skin is just kaput. But all of this works *extremely* well for me! Profile picture was taken just last year. Don't think I'm doing too badly. ;)

I did minimal dysport injections every 4-6 months for about 2-3 years. After a couple of years I noticed my forehead started to lose muscle tone and look old and misshapen. Now I realize why people who get Botox eventually still look old just with smooth skin. Which tbh looks more creepy than just looking old. Now I stick to laser, Microneedling, face massage, tretinoin, diet, and lots of laughter. I also find that sleep and hydration have a huge impact on how youthful I look.

I wondered if tretinoin would be on the list. I started using it 3 years ago and, my god, the results are amazing, I can never go back. I started using it because of very oily very acne prone skin (even in my late 20s), and it did solve that problem, but it also improved so much my skin overall in ways I wasn't even thinking about because I was so focused on the acne (and because my skin was very oily, the adaptation period was actually pretty ok). I hardly ever apply foundation anymore, I don't feel like I need it, whereas before I wouldn't go anywhere without foundation cause I was so self conscious about my skin. I can't be bothered with a overly complicated skin care routine, and for that tretinoin is amazing because it's one product you apply before bed and it does the most. Highly recommend anyone to discuss using it with their dermatologist.

I swear by IPL. I've had at least 6: 3 in my late 30s and another 3 in my mid 40s. In my 50s, I'm about to have another series of 2-3. It took about a decade off my age the first series of 3 I had done because I was a lifeguard in my teens, and when I was 37 my face looked 47 (especially since I was so thin). By the time I was 47, I looked 37. It took away every single sun spot in my 30s and just now, 20 years later, I'm starting to see a few more on my forehead. TIP: I wish I would have had the backs of my hands done in my late 30s or late 40s, but I had no sunspots at that time. I'm starting to get them now in my 50s. Make sure to do your neck and decolette, as well. Most derms will give you a better price if you do face/neck/decollette or hands all at the same time. ***make certain you get to a clinician or nurse who has considerable experience with IPL because in inexperienced hands, you will get MORE sun spots surfacing than you get rid of***

Thread lift make only 1 cm of lift per session, surgical lifting 3 to 5 cm with scars to cut off this to much skin. Knowing this, you must make progressively some threads two to 3 times with a distance of two months to lift 3 to five cm but without scars and even no social avoid. The result in this case last as long as a lifting 3 to five years. The cost from a good physician is about half to third of a surgical lifting.

IPL for Asians can be only performed with a very good doctor..as the settings are very different from white skin tones otherwise skin darkening occurs.

I'm curious about Dysport vs Botox for migraines. I wonder if it will work and if there have been studies done. My neurologist told me there's also a longer acting form of Botox coming out, so it lasts 6 months instead of 3-4. I'm all for going twice a year instead of four times.

Wasn’t the original intent of Botox to be used for migraines? The use for dynamic muscle prevention is basically an ‘off-label’ use?

@@u4riahsc I have no idea. I've seen so much varying information over the years that I'm not what is accurate.

@@amymandeville8342 Botox stopped working for me a while ago so my doc switched to Dysport, but it’s starting to wear off quickly now. I guess I develop an immunity after a while of use. I like the idea of one that is longer lasting. It would really be nice if there was something that lasted years.

How to get rid of a keloid scar

There are specific gels and patches available containing silicone, which help to reduce keloids. Surgery can also sometimes be an option

If it’s a fairly new scar, I would recommend wearing a nice, thick piece of silicone. Depending on where your scar is, you can wrap it so it stays on. I used a piece of Coban. All of my scars are keloid except my wrist, where I used the above mentioned products and my scar is TOTALLY FLAT. Oh, and scar massage.

Why is ur no#1 not good for sensitive skin? My skin is fair red head skin. Years of surfing and sun damage. I have psoriasis when it flares up along with hormonal menopause skin? Just turned 50.. I didn’t look this old until i turned 50. So many things went upside down in life. Now it feels like there’s a bookstore on my face.. lines and deep suffering marks. I also have Thai blood in me.1/4 from my grandfather. So what would u suggest? I did botox. That made my skin break out the entire time it was in my system. I have no idea why. I’m on doxycycline long term daily use . Otherwise I break out on one side, then I look again & it’s happening the other side like a mirror !! It’s so weird. I welcome ur real advice not selling advice pls? I need answers atm..Australian viewer
