I am an American and I understand this play while I know most would not. I am enjoying this realizing I am holding my breath and my heart is beating fast. Thank you for offering this remarkable play.

Gosh the people were brutalised. No one knew ,or they pretended not to know. This is an eye-opener. Brilliant play. Cuts right to the bone.

If the BBC is famous for anything it’s keeping its “long-running” series running too long That’s why Cleese became such a hero : he wouldn’t let them do that to him. If only more writers and directors would have the courage to stand up to the BBC, we could have changed the world

Mrs Doyles friend😂and wasn’t she in The Royales too? She is an accomplished actor. Just looked up her name, Doreen Keogh, first barmaid in Coronation Street. I didn’t know that, she got to a ripe age of 91. Good innings.
