Great video! I think an issue that I have with vegan food is that most people think that just because its vegan its needs to be ultra healthy. 3:47 is a perfect example of this! In my experience vegans also just want to eat vegan garbage food not a bowl that was ran thru a garden

I love Mexico. I have been to quite a few cities but never Playa Del Carmen. Man, the food looks amazing. I was on a cruise ship and got off in Ensenada Mexico once. A tourist town that only exists because of the cruise line. Anyway, I walked into a Mexican restaurant the was really simple looking. I told them I was a vegan and they were like "We have lots of options for you". And they did! Sometimes I think Mexican restaurants are much easier to to eat at as a vegan than American restaurants. Great view of food in this video. Those smoothies!! Loved it.

Oh yeah! Mexican food is super easy to make vegan as long as you watch out for the lard in the beans and chicken stock in the rice. Otherwise the vegan options are off the chart!

Thank you for sharing all this info! I'm piggy backing on a playa del carmen trip and my friends wanted to do all inclusive but i was worried about paying that much and not having enough veg options. Knowing that all these amazing vegan restaurants are around, I def don't want to do all-inclusive. this looks so good
@VeganVoyagers

Oh yeah, we never do all inclusive because there generally just aren’t that many options and the surrounding area has great options. Some of these places no longer exist but I’m sure others have opened since then as well. Enjoy your trip!

Wow that french toast is so thick! The crock monsieur? (spelling?) lol that looked amazing too. I have still never tried tamarind, yet I hear about people using it all the time, that drink sounds refreshing. I was seriously drooling over every dish...not one I wouldn't order. Those ribs looked like a meat steak...didn't look vegan at all. My non vegan hubby would probably love that. LOL I wouldn't fight ya for putting pineapples on pizza - as I love pineapples on anything, including pizza! Still blown away how much vegan dishes / restaurants there are in Mexico. Had no idea until watching your other videos. I can see how mexican vegan food would be healthier though than the american vegan diner...nice for once in a while as a treat though when you're craving a vegan burger :)

We would recommend pesos because you get a better rate (pay less overall). But don't try to exchange money, just take pesos out of an ATM. Enjoy!
