Forget the modern era, the dragons won 11 in a row when there was no tackle count, you kept the ball until you lost it and there was no salary cap, the dragons were chock full of the Australian side. The Panthers are the best side of all time. 5 consecutive GFs the third time since 1908, 4 consecutive wins and topped off with a record 12 finals wins on the trot. There may be better teams in the future but this is "simply the best" so far.

The scarier thing is they had an average year , at times lost to low placed teams, look scattered , lots of injuries to key staff, lost players in origin , scraped over against sharks last week and then win a GF. I would say their season review meeting will say regular season was only a 7/10 by their standards. Let that sink in

I wrote them off until the first week of the finals against the Roosters. The first half of that game they were at their best. That game changed how I saw them going into the finals. Great team.

That’s what I said prior to the Finals vs Storm. I said idk what’s scarier a Storms team that’s playing at their peak and have been consistently elite all season OR a Panthers that have sort of been in cruise control all season yet have still managed to make it to the Finals again Sunday night just showed that they are still the greatest in the comp come Finals time

That what I thought when in round 27 they played the Titans they looked buggered.

The scary thing you should say is they can go to another gear and take over the comp

Loved your podcast. Thank you. Penrith fan here I feel they can get 5th peat next year with all the attributes the coach and players have as you’ve discussed.

I’ve said every year there is no way they can win it again. I’m definitely not saying it this year. What a bloody team. Best team I’ve seen for the past 30 years

Really enjoyed listening to this all season from New Haven, Connecticut in USA. Hoping the Warriors can turn it around next year with JFH.

Penrith fan and I don’t think Cameron Munster has anything to answer for.

Hughes looked busted. He must have picked up an injury or was carrying an injury into the game. Had to do too much defending and at times couldn't get up off the ground.
