so glad you decided to use the „good old“ sv33 back as your main mic. just by far the most natural sounding mic. (whatever that means)

Agreed! Wish I could use Large Diagram Condensers like that on stage. See my main comment.

@@bodiesands4654 i bought this jewel right after mr. brownes first review and use it since on everything i do. manly live on stage!!! be it as a classic vocal mic close to my mouth, guitar, banjo, tambourin, you name it! be it as a single, „old time way“ mic for a whole bunch of players, placed further away! just for everything. ps. i even handhold it! no problems

In your voice and to my ears, the SV33 is by far very pleasant to listen to. The voice, depending on what we say and the emotions attached, is extremely pleasing, reflected by the SV33. A perfect match between the timbre of your voice and the SV33. Of course, I'm subjective.. :)

I used ksm8 for 1 year, recently switched to ksm9 (s.h 300$), the convenience of a switchable diagram, the lows appeared, I’m a bass-baritone). Ksm8 is a manual re20, it’s not very suitable for low voices in speech, in vocals it’s not so noticeable, but in fact all these variabe d lowcut cut the bass)))

Cheers. Have you ever considered comparing some mics that are not flat? Would love to see what they do to your voice in particular and would be nice to see the juxtoposition to the flat/natural mics you have.

I would LOVE to hear you compare your favorite mics with tlm 103 or mkh416. Hope it happens eventually.
