I dont know why this video popped up, probably random alg stuff but i just want to say something: Its better to be alone than to want to be alone but you cant. Trust me on that one guys. It seems that alot of depression in men comes from the feeling that they are missing out on life, but there is a time when one must ask themselves are they really missing out that much? Why is it that troughout history most men capable of true philosophy chose themselves to not participate in society, and it was only then that they were able to produce their works? Solitude doesnt have to be a curse if one learns how to master the element of self.

Not gonna say those guys deserve it but one gotta realize that there are losers and winners in life. Stop believing in those fairy tales that things magically will be good in the end. Make sure you don't end up as a loser. If you are 30 and still a neet you are done for it. I would respect those guys if they would go full monk mode and move into a cabin in the woods somewhere but those guys rarely do that. They just sit on their aging parents basements all day. Until those parents die or get sent off to the nursing home. The biggest problem with most neets is that they never do anything. Playing games is just that it's games. Neets rarely try do develop skills or themselves as persons. You don't need a job to develop yourself as a person but i would argue it gets even harder to develop yourself when you don't have a job. Jobs bring social interactions closer to you if you like it or not. Still wageslaving is miserable so many people opt out but that's not the way to go. Theoretical it's always possible to make it in life but if you avoid difficult and stressful situations for too long you will never be able to grow as a person. Life is difficult but you have to push through it if you wanna make it in the end. Neets who gave up completely are already dead men.

in jobs they bully you 'cause you ugly. Most of neets dont build skills since they have no one who believes in them and they have no one who would help them if it didn't work so it is logical to do nothing since most likely doing something will get you to the same position when you weren't doing anything. It's a catch 22. I in my life had one of the best grades in school but no one supported me and everybody only demanded more and more from me and I never got anything from them. So why should I try? That's why I do barely minimum since life taught me hard work doesn't pay off. I ended up school and they forced me to work bluecollar job. So what was that learning for? It's all a cap

I'm not unhappy. I'm very content. That may be different if I hadn't had a kid though. That definitely gives you purpose and joy. Not making fun mind (I'm also autistic as hell, so bear with me), but some of the things you said and your reference to the 90's made me think of a song from when I was a kid. "I wish I was a lil bit taller. I wish I was a baller. I wish I had a girl and a phone so I could call her." One of the biggest contributing factor for the loneliness epidemic these days is the internet. People need real life interactions with each other it's just how thinks are. It's hard to meet people irl these days. I recall just walking outside for hours and not seeing a single person my age. It's insane also on the rare occasion you meet up with people they are constantly on their phones. It's like they don't even want to be there. Had some normie like friends i couldn't tolerate anymore because those guys rarely wanted to go out and do something and when they did go they just starred at their phones the whole time. I sound like a boomer ranting about them damn phones but it's true. Socializing is fucked. Especially when you don't like to go to clubs or whatever.

The biggest thing that keeps me going is working out. This shit works unironically I only wish I had more energy to do it more often I can't train everyday because if I do for a week or 2 my body is cooked and I feel like shit. But moderate activity and working out hard 3 times a week is awesome. Helped me to overcome most of my emotional and physical issues I had.
