Enjoyed the vid. Great performance. Looking at live performances of Mark he really is excellent. I remember when there was a massive media frisson here in the UK about Frankie in 1984. Trevor's production was epic. I love it when pop music references the high-brow: in this case Samuel Taylor Colleridge's epic poem Kubla Khan. Cheers!

Yeah, it's a sequence bass line, on a synthesiser, why try to re-create it on an instrument it wasn't even played on? Even now (Coronation thingy 2023) when they played this song "live" it actually wasn't Play some real players stuff - that or completely move the modus operandi to bass lines that were never bass lines to start with (ie. synth bass) and do that. Don't try and pretend this was ever recorded or meant for bass. It's an insult to bass players
