Thank you, Sir. Very well explained. It would be great if you can create a video on EMF.

I don't think so. It is only till the payment day, that is T+2 days. For example, If I want to buy shares today, I use the amount from pledge. After two days(T+2), I will have to transfer the money from my bank account and clear. Otherwise I think the shares will go for auction. I'm not sure and not an expert, so better call Sharekhan Cust care directly.

Not an expert here, I'm just an end user like you. Below is my understanding. Yes, limit statement mein show hoga, something like "limit against shares..."(don't remember). Yes, normal buy order lagaya tha main ne. Aap ke limit statement mein show hone ke baad order laga sakte hai. The amount will be used as margin, we have to transfer money before settelement. I do not know what is EMF.

How much interest needs to pay? To pledge the shares?.

AFAIK there is no interest. This is only pledge for margin, so they give us some credit to use as margin to buy shares. But before the settlement, we should transfer our own money into account and if we fail to do that they sell off the shares we bought for market price. If the sold price is less than purchase price, they sell some of the pledged shares to recover that money. So, there is no interest but if we fail to fund our account before settlement there is a risk of loosing shares. I'm not an expert, this is only my understanding as an end user.
