Such a lovely setting for painting, especially with two ducks almost sitting at your feet! Blenheim is a stunning place. Loved your little painting of the bridge. Thanks for sharing your creativity and tour with us🇦🇺

I watch your videos all the time, and I learn so much from every one. This one is very special, and what I love is the fact that while it's an "absolutely" serious endeavor, you don't take yourself too seriously. It was such a pleasure to be taken along on this absolutely beautiful journey. Thank you for sharing your plein air adventures with us! 😊

You've inspired me so much so that I've made a number of dinky 7cm square arches hotpress sketchbooks since discovering you, and have found immense joy in this process also! Thank you ☺️

Absolutely stunning. I don’t know if I could choose a view to paint. Everything is just breathtaking Leslie. The architecture, the landscapes, the water features. How do you pick one. The trees are especially beautiful to me . Old growth trees like those almost speak . I look at aged trees like that and think” If only they could speak and share your history”. I’m no t sure if I would be able to leave there after I got there.I didn’t realize that Winston Churchill was such an accomplished painter either. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us.

Great video. I was at Blenheim Palace in 2008 on a trip to the UK. I loved the water terraces and the garden but was gobsmacked at the size and beauty of the Orangery. Thought it would be a beautiful place for a wedding. There was a Bollywood movie being filmed there at that time.

Hi! Really enjoying your videos. Random question regarding your older videos. Of the water mixable oils you’ve tried which was able to get down to a wash consistency the easiest? I know some brands have a real hard time and get grainy.

Hello, yesterday I was in an art class where the teacher asked me about the deterioration of paper over time but did not give me any help beyond that question and the name of a fine artist. My question is, what can I use or do I need to prevent my watercolor paintings from deteriorating over time? I understand that one of the methods is to keep the piece in a glass frame and not get direct sunlight, but is there any other method?
@LeslieStroz
7 ай бұрын
The main thing with paper is to use acid-free paper. Basically, don’t use cheap paper. And yes, framing and UV resistant glass helps.
