It's great to see that not only are these tractors being restored, but it demonstrates they still have farm value.

Some great images and sounds, the ladies on the camera did a great job, just a suggestion, maybe next year have someone with the them who can briefly describe each tractor, as many of us, esp overseas viewers, don’t know all the makes and models. Glad you had a great day

That ol’ 1066 didn’t even seem like she was breaking a sweat and that dirt, as a displaced midwesterner stuck in the red clay of the south makes me jealous. Also, I always think one thing on these plow days and parades/drives, “Ah. The fender and drawbar. The original buddy seats.”

Brandon, love the event. Wish we could do a similar event, too many lawyers in the area! I can't get enough liability insurance for any public events on the farm. On a similar note, Guys with small kids on the tractor while plowing are a tragedy about to happen! All that needs to happen is a bump or a stop in motion and that child is under the rig and tragedy is there! We don''t never want something like that to happen! Not your fault, but the results will be on your door step. The guy with the little Ford has a good little answer to the concern! Easy to implement a few precautions to avoid that. Any parent or Grandparent knows how much we want every one to go home safe. Take care

Do you compensate the participants for showing up and plowing your land? Or do the tractors just show up since they have a field to exercise the older iron? I’ve never attended a plow day since they don’t seem to happen in my area of Kansas so I’m curious how plow days are organized.

Thanks for the info. I live in a farming community in Kansas where farmers will help harvest or plant a crop when someone has an untimely illness or death. Plowing is a lost tillage practice in my area. The only use for a plow is to repair erosion control terraces.

@nellsonstout7001

@@jti2007 plowing is basically a lost tillage practice altogether in the U.S. and for good reason. I went to Renner Stock Farm’s last show and to say that it was soil sodomy was an understatement. The people that participated in that show should’ve felt honored to screw up someone else’s soil so bad.
