I need to know that for removing indicators that have a lower loading than .5 should we run our model using path or factor? Is there any difference between them. As i can see you have used path for running pls algorithm.
@derekong1609

Sohrab Khan Bizanjo ...basically once you remove the indicators with lower than 0.5 loading is suppose to allow you to also double check on the AVE (> 0.5) and the CR (> 0.7) just make sure that those are checked as well for measurement model sake

Thank you for much for the clarification. There are two options in the setting for running PlS algorithm. They are selecting either path or factor? Would that make any difference in the results? what is generally reported in papers?

Thanks Dr for this video..but i have 1 question..how can we justify if the items deleted are more than 20 percent?
@derekong1609

If you delete more then 20% than something must not be right...perhaps those that are deleted may be part of another construct :)

Hi,Dr. Derek. According to your tutorial of PLS 18, if the measurement model is a formative one, Wights, T-values and VIF should be reported. So, can you tell me the notes of the weight, T-values and VIF for the formative measurement model just as shown at the 10:30 of this video? Thank you.

Hi apologies but I am not sure what you mean by notes... weight, t-values and VIF can be found in structural model when you run the boostrap. can be found in my video PLS series. click on the series to find the approapriate video 11 to 13

@@derekong1609 I see, I will check in video 11 to 13, thank you. By notes I mean the small notes below the Table 1 Measurement Model, which is copied pasted from your slices, you called it notes in this video. For exmaple, a. All loadings>0.5 indicates Indicator Reliability(Hulland,1999,P198) b. All Variance Extracted (AVE)>0.5 incidicates Convergent Reliability(Bagozzi(1988)) c... d...
