I am looking to buy this amp for my stage monitoring. It is a shame their manual online is not detailed enough. I wish to know if the XLR outs outputs processed audio or unprocessed that we can send it to front of house.

We might do a follow up to this, but in the short term, without any effects, it is very clean, and being solid state, you can push the volume fairly high without any distortion or break up in sound. Thanks for watching!

Nice vídeo, great explanation about this amp. Do you think that this amplifier will work's well with a nylon string guitar? I only have and play Classical guitar and i love the aspect/features of this amp. Have you allready try or seen nylon stringed plugged into this amplifier ?
@WhyBuy

Thanks for the feedback Nuno Pinto! While testing out the amp, yes, I did test a nylon string hybrid. Not quite a traditional classic guitar, this one had a build in pick up, to be able to plug into an amp. It worked great, however the Martin was the better choice for my play style.

Yes it did, and that's weird. Right out of the box it came just as you see it in the video, perhaps yours had them in a little bag and required separate assembly? Still, if there is pilot holes for where they should go, I'd just contact Fender and say hey, can you send me some? Hopefully that works out, thanks for watching 👍

I must be the only owner who noticed this But your volume knob is at 10 o'clock? Same as me last night for 1st gig with it.. other Amos are loud enough at 2.. I just think this thing is more of a 40 watt at most. 100,? Nah I had a swr blonde and that thing was LOUD at 2 rumbled the floor this one weighs like 10 lbs there's no way it's a full throttle 100 watts Also I had the vocal side bass peggged and felt it still lacked bass.. but that's just me For my other gigs I'll stick with my Bose L1
@WhyBuy
6 ай бұрын
This is a good question, and often times watts are a misunderstood measurement. You'd think (and we did), higher wattage equals more loudness, right? Not entirely. The relationship between wattage and perceived loudness is not linear. For example, doubling the wattage does not double the loudness. In practice, it typically takes a tenfold increase in wattage to perceive a sound as twice as loud. You also have to consider other factors like the efficiency of the amp's speaker, the design of the amplifier itself, and the settings used. So while wattage is a good basic indicator of an amp's maximum volume, it's not the only thing that determines how loud an amp will be in practice. Best advice, if you can, just try and play around with some amps in person to get a feel for the tone, range, and loudness. Seems obvious, but before ordering online it's an easy way to make sure it suits your application. Thanks for watching 👍

You could, but the speaker in the cabinet isn't designed for it. I'd say if you occasionally need to sure, but for a dedicated amp solely for bass, probably not the best option out there. Let us know if you end up trying and how it sounds!

I need something to sing through. Don’t really care about plugging the guitar in although that’s a plus. My Martin guitar is loud and hard to sing over. I just need something to amp my voice some. I just sing at home for fun. I sing decent but I can’t loudly project it over the guitar without losing some voice quality. I just don’t know what I really need. I used to sing through electric guitar amp ( twin reverb) but the quality sucked

You can plug a mic into this amp and sing. It's an expensive option for just amplifying vocals, but it does have effects like reverb that might come in handy in you don't have an interface or any other preamp for vocals. Good luck, and thanks for watching 👍

@WhyBuy

Haven't used this to play shows, but based on the time I've used it, you could play with a band. If you are looking for the sound, and don't want to mic it up to a larger PA system, maybe go for the larger acoustic 200. It's a bit larger but it might be the way to go for what you're describing.

Hi. I don't know why acoustic guitar player you need a special "Acoustic" amp. What's wrong with using the Fender Champions? Back in the day, that's all we had.
@maestrodmc

Good for you. The fact is that an Electric Guitar amp by design, has no Tweeter. This is part of the “magic” of an electric guitar amp, that the really high frequencies are cut off by the lack of a tweeter on the amp. This lack of a tweeter also means that the really high frequencies inherent in the tone of an acoustic guitar are lost. There you go.
@rileygriffin9409

Back in my day, everyone just died of cancer. It's all we had, what's wrong with that? Technology changes. You can grit your teeth and play worse sounding equipment because of nostalgia, or you can sound your best. Musicians looking to book gigs are going to have a hard time selling nostalgia over quality.
