Yes quite. Whilst the line is mostly level, the gradients out of Marsh Mills and Plym Bridge are quite steep.

A friend and myself went to visit the person who thought of the idea of opening the Plym Valley years ago. He lived in Plymouth, I forget where, and we spent an hour or so talking with him. We then walked the line from Marsh mills and took some super pics of the scenery especially the line side waterfalls and the viaduct. I moved away not long after that so I'm really pleased to see it's now open. Well done to all of you involved in bringing his idea to fruition.
