If you had two clear polycarb filler plates, you could notch one and flip the entire enclosure around if you needed to get low to the table. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR VIDEOS! You are an inspiration for doing this sort of thing at home. I have learned a ton from your videos, mostly electronics related (machine shop guy by trade.) Love your videos on stepper vs hybrid and servos. Clear, concise, and including basic price information giving enough for someone to go and hunt down different options. I have an old Emco 2400 I bought to retrofit, with the information I have learned from you, I can actually grasp everything I need to do to do that now.

Clean and beautiful work ethic. So, that means when you program the gcode, must be careful the path on Y-axis so that the drill does not hit on the box.

Notch it and add a bellow that can compress right there, or a spring loaded section?

Sweet idea Franco! Nice job ! Just wondering, in your opinion do you think the pm Matthews is a better mill than the Grizzly?
@FrancoCNC

If you're just using the mill to punch a few holes and cut some flats, then buy the Grizzly. However, if you ever think you will do a CNC conversion, buy the PM.

it might help if you put the back part of the chip guard behind the columb and maibe have some slanted pieces on the sides making most of the stuf slide intoo the chiptray , might even hang part of it off the milling head itself

It's been quite a few months since this last video came out, have you decided anything on selling the kits for this? This series has been amazing by the way, as a novice looking to get into the craft, this has been a great teaching guide.

Did you bend and form the acrylic fish tank?
@FrancoCNC

Yes, I did. I can't find my heat gun so I used my torch to heat it. I always get it too hot and make bubbles in the plastic. Other than that, it works pretty well.

@FrancoCNC

Thanks. For now, it's just a 3-axis setup. I'm not sure if it has enough Z-axis clearance to tuck the 4th and 5th in there...but I like the way you think!
