These drum mags have been flawless for me, and I have about 8 of them in my rotation. They work best with brass cased ammo and make sure you don't try to load more than ONE round at a time, or you may get feeding issues like you had in the first drum. Most definitely the BEST drum on the market tho, so good choice!

I don't think you can overload the mag. I think it's a hard stop when it's full. Your rifle seems to chamber slower with the drums than with the 30 round mag you were using. It even seemed that your ejection pattern was closer to 6 or 5 with the drum and 3 with the 30 rounder. I honestly don't have a good feeling about that particular gun with the 60 round drum mag. If it were me, I wouldn't be betting my life on those drum mags... I will say I have not had the same issue that you've had there, all of mine work in all of my ar15s with no issue. But in your case, I think your particular gun has a clearance issue with those particular drum mags. It seems as if it's sitting too high in the mag well and the bolt is dragging.
