There’s a movement happening for women’s health and I’m so sad it’s taken this long but I’m hopeful that future generations will have more access to this overdue knowledge

Fist of all I want to THANK YOU BOTH for this podcast! I’m towards the end of - 58 min into and as a woman who was on the pill 10 years ago for only a 1,5 year I find those suggestions very helpful but at the same time - I was living by them for a long time. I have irregular periods, crumps and other things (not the point ) that I am experiencing. All the medical advice which was “go on the pill” and the advice is given in this video - sleep (I sleep 8-9h on average), food (I make my own from scratch), exercise (I exercise 1-3 times a week as a workout + have not secretary job) = still have my periods irregular, hormones often times - crazy.. my point is that - a lot of us here are already into the “natural way of living and listening to our bodies” mostly because we never trusted womens healthcare to begging with. Yet I still have some concerns but when I do my regular check ups and bloodwork - I get an answer “everything within NORM”. I think as a society we totally neglect womens health and complains. Even when you do things “right” and your tests are coming as “in the norm” - you still feeling not 100% yourself for most of the days .. it feels like medical field neglects everything you say about how you feel and just says “everything with norm” while you know it’s not and you have no idea WHAT ELSE you can do to make it “right”. We NEED more research on womens because there’s a lot of us who naturally followe dall the advices above and still feel not even close to beeeing at the 100% for most days. We need the shift where women’s health is discovered more. We don’t have answers to so many questions! It absolutely CRAZY that medicine neglects women. Those who actually bring new life to the world. As a woman (28 old) I feel absolutely neglected and the only advice I get from medical professionals- go on the pill. We NEED more research for women’s health!

Dr Ben Spell Castle is the advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment

Taking a pill helped me to deal with a hard period in my life such as moving to another country, getting married. It was really like crutches until I knew that the stressful period has passed and I can live with my natural cycle and have problems like acne, pain, mood changes. I wouldn’t be able to deal with a natural cycle during that period but I don’t want to take a pill no more in my “normal” routine life now as it had too many post pill effects. Thanks for the video!

I just recently started doing green smoothies (I know, late huh). Loads of spinach, green apples, cucumber, lemons, a bit of ginger and banana for sweetness. I only add water. I only started doing it because I wanted to start eating more fruits and veggies and it’s easier for me to drink all those servings than eat it. The mist amazing thing I discovered was that now I don’t know when my cycle is coming… pMS literally disappeared. No cramps, hormonal acne, mood swings … nothing. If I don’t actively track my period, I will have accidents because I get no warning signs anymore.

I was on the pill during 17 years)) I no longer take it for 1,5 years. Now thanks God I am pregnant! I remember 5 years ago I was on antidepressants as I had terrible anxiety and depression. Guess what.. as soon as I stopped taking the pill last May, my health improved, the symptoms of anxiety and depression has gone away completely.. how is this even posible?! Girls we have to be careful , but for me it was difficult to stop taking those pills as I didn’t see the connection between my anxiety and the pill and I asked more than 6 doctors if I should stop , and all of them told me it would be a mistake, and it only benefits my health… God… how wrong I was

I told my doctor my period was getting heavier lately, SHE didn't ask me a single question and just turned to her computer and said "oh theres a new pill for that" and started writing a script. I told her to shove it and walked out.

Valeria, I am very grateful to work you do, this episode is very important and genius! I have a question, maybe I didn’t follow: After collection data about feelings, symptoms, sex drive, etc for three months, what should I do with it? Is it just for predicting? Sort of, if I know I am very down by the end of the cycle I should not plan any additional projects for this time and plan joyfully activities instead?

My dermatologist recommended it to me that I use it forever as I was suffering from severe acne. My acne was gone but when I stop taking it they come back. So I keep taking it. (Also there’s absolutely no reason for me to take birth control as I am not sexually active and have never been and I am 28 )
