Very important to have things to look forward to. Holidays, concerts, sports events, passtimes you enjoy, visiting great places, learning new skills. Just spending time with friends. Make a daily choice to plan a great event or just a simple one. Have something to look forward to and ALSO look back on!

I like how you go through the notes backwards at the end. Very easy to recall the info and remember what the most important things are in that way :)

Connection over perfection ! That's what drew me into your presentations, the connection you capture. Ever since watching your video "how to make today a masterpiece" I was instantly drawn in. Your work is amazing and inspiring. The relatable connection you bring is perfection !

Brian, thanks for all the hard work you put into these videos. Love seeing the progression of your videos over the years! I was refreshing on goals/processes with some of your older stuff the other day. The 'Pen and Paper' days are some of my favs. Thank you again! Just signed up for philosophers notes and looking forward to incorporate the audio summaries in my AM routine/commute to work!

you do present very well. Clear voice, relaxed expression, no hums and ha-s. It's a little fast for me, but I understand that you have a very short time frame.

Thanks, Brian! Another great video. My favorite big idea today is "connection over perfection." I often struggle writing curriculum for the classes I facilitate, which I hate to admit, sometimes never making it to production because of "perfectionism." Interestingly though, I find my best work comes when I just "let it rip!" This is a awesome "permission slip" to focus on connection rather than perfection and let it rip. I've never really used mind maps before but it sounds like a good time to start trying them. Many thanks! Not just for this video, but for everything you do (especially this year!). The exponential growth I've experienced in the first few months of 2015 are due largely to you and the awesome work you do. I've said before, but I want to say it again, I'm really, really, really, really, glad you're back! Big hugs! Connection over perfection.
