If I have to compare the Synergy 98 to something else I've tried this past year, the closest frame would be the Prestige MP 2021 18*19, mostly because of the balance point. With both I feel the weight being concentrated towards to hoop. The Prestige felt stiffer, with much less dwell-time, more responsive, more "connected" feel from everywhere, BUT the Synergy is definitely faster, much lighter which takes much less toll in fatigue, equally stable (with less static weight), deals with low balls much easier. much easier access to topspin, slicing is also easier. I'll put a stiffer string on the Synergy to see what would be the result, as sometimes I got a vague response from the stringbed. Both rackets suit a 2-handed backhand style.

Original Ripstick was a 29 inches long 105. The Billie Jean King endorsed MACH 1000 was the 29 inch 120 sq ins. power frame of the mono shaft series.

Make a comparison video of pure aero and pure drive
@tenniswarehouse
3 жыл бұрын
Very similar racquets, but the Pure Drive is a bit more firm and tends to feel a bit better on flatter strokes, while still being pretty spin friendly; so maybe a bit better from all areas of the court. The Pure Aero is slightly more flexible, and is a spin machine, so great for baseliners who love to grind with topspin. Troy, TW

How does the Ripstick 300 compare to the Beast O3 98 ? Higher launch I guess. My shoulder hurt a bit with the Beast O3 98.
@tenniswarehouse

The Ripstick 300 packs some easier power, and a bit higher launch angle. I would compare it a bit closer to the Beast o3 100, or maybe like the old Prince Speedport White. Troy, TW

What string weight would the ripstick perform at best??
@tenniswarehouse
Жыл бұрын
That can vary based on the type of string, and each player can have their own preference. We typically prefer a more control oriented poly, like Prince Tour XC, or Solinco Confidential strung at about 53 or 54 pounds. Troy, TW

How does ripstick feel compared to phantom 100P? I find my 100P swingweight a lil bit difficult to handle, so do you think i can handle it better on ripstick or not? Thankyou.

Yes, the Ripstick should swing easier for you than the Phantom 100P, but it also packs quite a bit more power. Troy, TW

I think the Phantom 100X 290 is a great choice, also the Prince Tour 100 290 ATS is a solid choice, a little more power than the Phantom but much more controlled than the Ripstick. Troy, TW

@@tenniswarehouse ah i see. okay, what if i use leather grip on my 100P? Will it change the balance so i can swing it easier? I like the stability, the plowthrough of my 100P. I did train to swing faster, but is there any other way that i can try to make 100P easier to swing? Thanks.

Anything in comparison to the Prince Ex03 Rebel Team 98?
@tenniswarehouse
3 жыл бұрын
Not necessarily a direct replacement, but the Synergy 98 offers a heftier feel, more plow through, while still having good control, and feel. That said there is a pretty big difference in swingweight between the two. Another one I would consider is the Prince Phantom 100X 290, a bit closer in maneuverability to the Rebel 98 Team, and is slightly larger in the head at 100, but still very flexible and lots of feel. If you were considering other brands, we might consider the Yonex VCORE Pro 100 (300 or 280), and the Head Gravity MP. Troy, TW

Compared to Prince 100X 305?
@tenniswarehouse
3 жыл бұрын
The Synergy 98 is closer to the Phantom 100X 305, than the Ripstick 100. The Phantom 100X 305 feels slightly more flexible, a bit lower in power, but is more spin friendly than the Synergy 98. The Synergy 98 packs more plow through, and a bit more pop on the ball, and slightly lower launch angle than the Phantom 100X 305. The Ripstick 100 provides a lot more power, and is a bit more maneuverable, and has a bit bigger sweet-spot than the Phantom 100X 305. Troy, TW
