Thank you for the detailed video! It was really helpful for me, as someone who hasn't used the right side of the tree very much and never done an attack-based dagger build. Gonna leaguestart with this, and hopefully it goes as smoothly for me as I'm sure it will for you. Cheers!

Good luck! I have done another video that makes conversion much easier to understand while getting more thickness into the build.

No idea how the algo blessed me with this man's knowledge but I am thankful. I was a huge Reave enjoyer back in the dual wielding days when statm sticks were a thing and you could get screen wide AOE clears along with the demon reave mtx popping off. Will be following this guide for my league start as well, it's be SO long since I've played with dagger reave and I can't wait to get back to it!

@@suddha1 I am a huge fan of those days too! If you want the stupidest aoe possible you should go slayer. Slayer with pulv is insane aoe for reave.

@@ExiledVesselwhat's your thoughts on trying to go gladiator with block but dual wielding? I know due to the dual wielding changes you'll need to hold two daggers 😅 would that even be playable?
@ExiledVessel

There is a base called Sai which has high physical and a block implicit. Dual wielding two of those is 12% additional block. With my tree alone you would be at 98% spell suppression without lucky since each dagger gives 10% spell suppression from dagger mastery. I think you should go attack block with aspect of the crab and my new updated conversion strategy that I am publishing right now, just remove the extra 25% aura for defenses and input the crab. I wouldn't chase spell block personally unless you can cap it with just taking versatile combatant. 65/65 block with spell suppression capped, some armour/evasion hybrid pieces, molten shell, and nightblade for elusive would be very comfortable. There is a level 30 aspect of the crab skill which you can get from black morrigan crafting, it gives an additional 2 max crab barrier stacks. When you take physical damage you would reduce the barrier to 0 however you gain 2% physical damage per crab stack. 12 barrier means its 24% physical damage reduction for that single hit. Which on a block cap build would be very potent defensive layer in addition to the 98% from tree alone spell suppression. Block and aspect of the crab are insanely good together, you could run the crab boots too to get stun immunity against all damage but it gets removed when you take a physical hit. Boots also are giving some decent ms, a res and faster to get back up to max crab barriers with the -5 its 2.5s to get max crab barriers instead of 5 or 6s depending on level 20 vs lv 30. I'd settle for level 20 at launch, but aim for level 30 when you produce a GG item that has an open suffix that you never intend on replacing. Hope this helps your cooking session, I do like the idea though.

@@ExiledVessel That's sick bro! But i'll play as your trickster trinity variant, in terms of highest dps as trickster is the way to go? Or go full single ele (like cold conversion through hatred + gloves + watcher's eye)?

@@handsomeben9504 😂 I think you can comfortably get 2m DPS without any major gear at level 90 with this build, excluding a tincture on just a binos and some decent accessories, a jewel, etc. I'll be playing it in ssfsc and posting daily updates :)

Thank you for this! I didn't even really consider going right side for my duellist reave starter, but I think I will end up using a tree very similar to yours. I'm going for plenty of instant leech with claws and Versitile Combatant lucky block gladiator. 40% of leech being instant, and an effective 88% attack and spell block sounds just so good. With the basis of your tree, it looks like it should be a million dps, which considering how rarely I'll be hit, should be solid.

@@Cruzz999 sounds fun, the int requirement for the weapon is higher on a duelist build and depending on the nodes you take on left side you could be lacking on strength too.

I recommend opening pob and trying to follow along to understand how scaling in a build like this works. I did zoom in a tiny bit and in the notes reading it is zoomed in through PoB. I apologize as this is a temp fix to pob videos for my setup atm. Edit: I have already noticed that because of the extra yapping I am messing up minor details in terms of numbers lmao. I do not make build guides this in depth or long lol. Good luck in 3.25 regardless of whatever build you decide to league start.

Thanks man you're a hero, been wanting to play Reave this league but nobody makes guides for it. I'm absolutely going to use yours. I guess i'm just not 100% sold on Trickster vs Slayer still. I know you covered it a tiny bit in the video but do you have thoughts on pros/cons of each?
@ExiledVessel

@@flapjack9022 Biggest con of slayer is even less int, very passive point starved so the same tree for damage is achievable on trickster by level 90 depending on need for winter spirit. Biggest perk of slayer: more aoe, more accuracy, cull. Your max hit will go down though if you try to fit in a cluster jewel and want the biggest damage setup possible. I've not min maxed a tree for slayer yet but I found it easier at least for ssf perspective to upgrade the trickster in comparison.

Hello, thanks for the in-depth build guide! I'm curious about Assassin. Does it have any advantage going Assassin over Trickster for a build like this? I like reave and I'm trying to figure out a build on my own this league, first time trying and totally clueless. Will probably follow your guide if everything else fails kekw
@ExiledVessel

The biggest con to assassin for melee attacks especially dagger/claws atm is that the weapon types aren't struggling for crit chance which is the main thing he offers. Assassin can probably crit cap a 7.0 crit chance claw with nightblade support. This would mean that you don't need as much investment to crit chance elsewhere and could run cluster jewels comfortably. You can drop a diamond flask as an assassin and run something else like a sulphur flask and then run a tincture that is elemental implicit giving you a lot of % increased damage. I would have to look at the numbers in order to see if it would work but with how much crit chance he gives especially the more on full/low life modifiers its probably doable. The defenses are going to be more questionable on assassin, he's really good for spells and party play, but in SSF and melee he's not really good. Assassin and gladiator were on my bingo card for ascendancy reworks, not raider.
