"Eternal fear is a fate worse than death" it's gonna be the "Hope is a prison" of this era. Amazing song, super excited for this album. RIP Ryan, legend.

Losing Ryan so suddenly its the most shocking for me, we never saw him bad in health and It makes me so sad that he isnt here to reap the rewards for the work he did on this album... He will live eternally in the songs and the albums he created and the youtube videos he had... RIP Ryan, wish the best for Polaris and hope they take time to heal and come back stronger than ever.

I've seen Polaris live 4 years ago, almost right before the pandemic. Guy was a FUCKING SCENE BEAST. Kept us all pumping and banging those heads. And the most important thing - he really liked our local, polish beer "Perła", which I applaud. I even got to drink with him, extremely humble and down-to-earth guy. Ryan, you will be missed. May you find peace, wherever you dwell

The news of Ryan's passing feels almost the same as Tom Searle from Architects when he died. If I remember correctly they were around the same age too. The lyrics on this song hit pretty hard now especially, but I'm glad they're pushing on as a band. Personally I think this song sounds a little bit like Landmine. Ryan Forever 🖤

Damn Ryan, you are a great loss to the Metal community. I, like many of us never got to know you personally but you spoke to us through your music and created a connection to each and every single one of us in our own personal way through that music. May you rest in peace wherever you may roam in this vast universe. We will miss you.

I feel like this song embodies the soul of the band more than most of their other songs, there’s not one bit of it that isn’t absolutely amazing! Only came out last night and I’ve listened to it at the least 50 times today (that’s genuinely not an exaggeration), it’s my favourite song by them because it just feels powerful! The guitar work has to be the highlight of the track, Chonky to funky with that chorus riff (fuckin tasty chorus), into a beautiful solo and then into demonic breakdown with chorus.2… just such a well rounded power song. I’ve been a bit gone from the music scene so I hadn’t even heard the news until I saw all the comments on the video last night, been a fan of their tunes for years now and it really is an awful thing the band are enduring right now, hopefully the love and support will help the band and Ryan’s family, after hearing and seeing this video I don’t think they could’ve been anymore proud, he put his soul into this music

This is my first Polaris song, and I’m so thankful for finding them, and the fact they’re based within 50km of me, they’re the homegrown band I’ve been looking for for years. I’ve now seen them live, have the ‘Predators’ hoodie with the “Eternal fear is a fate worse than death”, and will never stop listening to them. They’re absolutely ballistic live too. R.I.P Ryan, thank you for blessing us with your talent.

I feel for everyone in the band, but the two singles are not very good. No evolution in sound except way, way worse mixing. Both sound like some TDOM b-sides at best.
