There is always a way to fix or repair something, but sometimes you have to get a little creative like this. You can employ the same concept to straighten all sorts of things.I just did the same thing the other day except I used my mini excavator in place of the ratcheting load binder to straighten the top rail of a boat rack on a friends utility trailer.I cvould have used all sorts of things the excavator just happened to be handy...glad to see your posting again!

Cool. i didn't know a gentle tap would be enough if tension was applied. Useful.

NICE! The chain force was 90% to the front and only slightly downward. You persuader took care of the vertical bend. If you needed more, a vertical chain would have helped.

Anyone out there hit hard enough to move the frame back and successfully stretched it back? Or cut and replace a section…?

@BuhlzI I have put about 20 hours on the Ranger since the repair and it seems to run and steer normally.

That’s a ratcheting chain binder that I got a Northern Tool. It’s normally used to tie down heavy loads on big trucks. I have four of them that I use to tie down my tractor to the trailer in the video. It will only draw about 10” but it can pull really hard.
